That's not Cortese, it's One Direction....

Driving a coach is very different to being on the touchline. Anyway, you lot should listen to me, not your crackpot mates. I used to manage Man Utd until recently so think I know what I'm talking about. In my opinion, Wanyama may or may not be a success in the Premier League. Damiao or similar top striker = Lambert moved back?
Alain Perrin replied to DuncanRG's topic in The Saints
Anyone who suggests we are going to bench our top scorer is barking. All that will happen if a big name comes in is more rotation which will suit Lambert. He's not the quickest but has the guile to unlock defences if he has willing runners working off him. MoPo's not going to change his style and Lambert is perfectly capable of playing a role in that. My biggest concern is if he's not on the pitch then who will take the penalties? -
This is not the time for sound bites..... but I feel the hand of history on my shoulder....

In fairness, Lowe could have launched the finest Armani designed shirt and people would have marched against him. And he'd have been criticised for the press conference justifying it! l'll be back at 450 pages to turn off the lights. Sent from my RM-821_eu_euro1_276 using Board Express

Outrage is the new black, or in this case stripes. Twitter, Facebook and forums like this magnify and stir up discontent amongst the great unwashed (kept fresh and fragrant by Climacool TM) Personally I quite like the new kit and I can see why it is attractive to the club (Asian angle, cleaner presentation of sponsor etc.). That said, I find it amazing people care so much - at least until the next outrage comes along. Regardless no amount of *****ing is going to change it, so best go back to debating who we should sign. Just remember, a boycott of 10,000 is Wanyama's agent's kickback... Sent from my RM-821_eu_euro1_276 using Board Express

Liverpool bleating aside, Gaston should be given a chance. Surely Morgan is an object lesson in patience to the knee jerk reactionaries on this forum? Many of the same characters would have shipped him off on the next ferry or, as someone mentioned recently, played Paul Wotton in his place. Yes, Gaston is older, but that doesn't necessarily make settling in any easier.

I assume MLG has a photo from that exact seat which he will post in due course. But, in the meantime, that has helped. Thanks.

I'm on the transfer list and have just been offered seats in Row Q. I am trying to understand where that is in relation to the exit stairs. Above, below, level? Anyone got any ideas? (Currently in Row D, Kingsland and sick of getting rained on). Cheers

Anyone received their season tickets by post yet
Alain Perrin replied to terrasaint's topic in The Saints
I haven't received mine. What's the helpline number? I'm worried what with the first game of the season being on Saturday... -

I think it shows a different attitude under MP vs. Adkins. I'm not sure that 'characters' would be entertained. That said, if MP can keep him in check then bring it on. Sent from my RM-821_eu_euro1_276 using Board Express

Why does gaston only ever play 70 minutes I here you say?
Alain Perrin replied to Wrensup's topic in The Saints
I'm pretty sure it's bull****. If you've got an underlying heart condition you don't play for 5 minutes, let alone 75 minutes. You get it fixed or you retire. Sent from my RM-821_eu_euro1_276 using Board Express -

Twitter has it's use but,in common with some of the responses on here, is very much a shoot first, ask questions later tool. First port of call should be to escalate within the club (quietly) and then if no action unleash the dogs of cyberspace. Sent from my RM-821_eu_euro1_276 using Board Express -
A serious post - the club acting disgracefully.
Alain Perrin replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
I don't believe the club or any socially responsible organisation would deliberately try to screw a genuinely disabled person out of a ticket. More likely they have policy that doesn't cater for this precise situation and will be grateful to have it raised with them. I'd suggest trying to escalate within the club before engaging a media **** storm. Good luck. Sent from my RM-821_eu_euro1_276 using Board Express -
