  1. Interesting to read this version of events. Still at least we now all know who poopeys "Partners" are... Of course IF they were real then they'd answer this Dear Partners A number of dedicated, highly experienced and well trained people have recently lost their jobs in poorsmuff. This has caused severe personal distress to them and their families and has caused them increased levels of stress and anxiety as they seek alternative employment in harsh Economic conditions. As you are so clearly loyally attached to all things to do with poopey, could you please show some positive PR via Mr Neil Allen of the steps you are taking to aid those poor unfortunate people and their families to cope with the unexpected changes in their personal situation. Obviously you as major Corporate Organisations would not wish to remembered as being only concerned with acquiring seats, access, food and probably not insubstantial Alcoholic Beverages for people who were NOT made redundant Which is another way of saying. Dear partners you paid for a freebie p1ss up rather than help the poor sods who got fired. Neil Allen - every tme you open your Computer you look a bigger hypocrite
  2. Ah good so that's a non-starter then. Or to put it another way TB will sell to the highest bidder Chinny bids 218 pounds 75 pence (Outbidding the SMS consortium after The Northam & Itchen pick up all the coins they throw at us) He still gets total ownership of the land and the facilities after being a hero and selling the club to the trust for a pound with a Caveat to pay him X% of revenue each year for 100 years Chinny only needs to bid a pound more. TB's remit is sod all to do with saving the club, simply getting the best deal for Creditors Trust get the club. Chinny gets Tesco's
  3. Just did a quick check online Taxes from Dubai to Paris AED 350 Taxes from Dubai to London AED 670 all but double. Take a family to the US? Ain't using a British Airline
  4. Saints manager in "picking players / choosing subs to fit a tactical situation" shocker Sharp will bring a great deal to the team. His time will come. Lee is more technical and more ready to start. Connolly is more aware of the shape movement and work ethic of the team and bringing him on was less of a risk in the game. Right now NA is picking teams to win the 6 games and draw 2 that should get us up. Once that is done I can see him giving Sharp a start in place of RL to get him ready for next season when he will be vital to us
  5. All together now Boys & Girls.... WTFILN
  6. Hmm Install Stalker Plug In. Go to Twitter. Search and.....
  7. He's a Media Guy. Specialising in Social Media. They ALL come out the same cast....
  8. It is insane. It also shows "blinkered thinking" Flying is NOT only about going from UK to Europe, it is a business that is about moving People from Point A to Point B via Point C - as an eg If I wish to travel from here to the US I can fly with one stop via Europe or UK I can also go direct. It ALREADY costs me 100 pounds EXTRA if I wish to fly via the UK due to Green Taxes than to fly via Frankfurt Paris or Amsterdam. Result? Myself & many many other passengers choose NOT to use BA or Virgin. For Business Travellers (who at the end of the day are the ones that really keep full service airlines running) have to then justify even HIGHER taxes to use UK airlines. Likewise to get from here to Europe I can fly direct or choose to fly via the UK. It now costs more to come with one stop via the UK. So I go via EU (or even when going to Poland) Non-Eu countries and save money. Sure you Brits have no choice BUT an average BA flight from ME to UK has around 35% of it's tickets bought HERE. (First Class sales percentages are probably higher) Those passengers now use alternative routes - Airline numbers in UK drop, Profits Drop, less taxes overall. Less profits? Less spare cash for CSR or Internal Green initiatives, more harm to the Environment as well Stupid
  9. Oh. So WTFILN won't upset them then?
  10. I'd prefer to remember it more as a bit of a cheat shot.
  11. Oh THAT is priceless. You know what? I think PCFC should resign from the FL with Immediate Effect in disgust at the Outrage that has been forced upon them
  12. Family club award? Sorry that is an embarrassment. What about the families of the small businessmen who are owed money? What about the families of those they made redundant. But I'm sorry, the MOMENT that they went into Admin AGAIN, they should have DECLINED the nomination for "Community Club" that was not an embarrassment. That was Bringing The Game into Disrepute. Taking two tables? That was an incredibly INSENSITIVE shot by them
  13. Oh the PC world. Good post Jordan. Exactly what our AND EVERY OTHER club should be saying. If the cheats are so twitchy then they should have REFUSED to accept the nomination for "Community Club of the Year" the moment they AGAIN stopped paying their staff and asking them to work for free, made local Community members redundant and continued to renege on their promise to pay the Charities. Perhaps if Neil Allen had apologised for NOT calling TCWB a cn*t when he urinated on the seating at SMS they might have some moral high ground. And, he was right. How COULD they afford to pay for tables, transport (and possibly hotel accomodation if Alcohol was served) when "they are only days from going out of business? Sorry, how about them apologising for their Squad Valuation to the High Court that allowed them to sign loans to play against us in the cup at SMS? THAT was offensive
  14. Wonder what JS's username on here is (May have been some hints elsewhere BTW) Legend Just hope he has a hotel room booked & doesn't have to drive home He & the lads deserve the party
  15. Well done to Rickie BUT Take a bow the backroom team at Staplewood who got him into the shape he is in this Season When did we last have "A Player of The Year?"
  16. now he should be picked for the Euros (or the Olympics) And...... back to the Golf
  17. Yay!

  21. We were driving back from desert side of town and they were exactly over the top of the Burj Khalifa in line - sort of the big beast was keeping them up there.
  22. Nige's On the Bus analogy is so true. It is a Journey that in some ways began with the return of Rupert and the despair of that season. However it happened, our Admin came at the exact right moment in the Hand of Fate that we were found by Nicola & Markus. A lot of people have come and gone behind the scenes some we know about some who's influence we don't. AP, Les Read and the team at Staplewood, the coaches & scouts who found and made the case for us to buy players - Fonte, Hammond, Cork, Richardson et al. The Sports Science team that turned our players around. Hell even us lot were sceptical and still divided at times, and still go "off the boil" during matches, but we ARE getting better. Many more will come and go as the bus carries on it's way. And you know what? I think the set-up is right and a few nudges on the steering wheel, I don't think we need to be afraid of the PL either. Respect it of course but we are so much better set up than say Blackburn or Wigan, or even Reading if they go up.
  23. Hmmm Saints Thailand Couldn't wish for a much better mix than that Now, where did I put the airmiles/
  24. Rubbish English PL striker (well in 10 games he will be) Even allowing for his age Gotta be worth 25 to 30 mil at LEAST. (If Carroll is worth 35 that is)
  25. And another thing. The SMELL. Was back for the Derby match at SMS went out for dinner for Sis's 50th (Restaurant Pub - food served - should stay non-smoking IMHO). We then went to The Cathedral in Salisbury. (Jeez place made Rock Bottom Dubai look classy) The SMELL - Excessive BO. stale booze and Garlic. The place STANK. I could make quips about the French teaching the younger Brits how to use soap, I could accept an excuse of poor young students not having enough money for washing powder, but to argue about the Smell of a smoking v non smoking pub.... No, sorry, many non-smoking Pubs stink as badly as the old smoking pubs did. Sure it is a different smell but they STINK!
