The thing with Pubs in these difficult times is that sometimes the Landlord gets a bit lazy and starts to cut down on the frequency that he washes his pipes. The England Management have watched us not only for our youngsters but for the nature/style of football we play IMHO. My guess is he wants to play a mix of our & Liverpool's styles. The point is valid, about the amount spent vs I'm a better fan - the PROBLEM is that such an argument is a sad indictment of modern football by attaching a cash value to the support not a loyalty value. It was always going to be the issue when we got back to the Premier League from the neverlands of Real Football, and it is an argument that will never now be won. We are customers now, not just fans, our loyalty is an economic market value to be exploited to continue the growth of the club. It is as certain as bad weather in the UK in the Winter and horrid heat here in the Desert in the summer. We can rail against it and moan about plastics all we want. Life in the EPL is about Loyalty Cards and Airmiles and about our Propensity to Consume the increasing ranges of "Merchandise" that the club now needs to create. If we don't like it we should never have celebrated after the Walsall game 4 years ago.

On the subject of #globalsfc, Aussie Saint is performing miracles at bringing us all together. His articles in the programme are a small part of his work, his FB pages & Twitter have seen an amazing results - heck the latest one was for a Thai Saints fan wanting to know what bars to watch the game while in Malaysia! Behind that creation of a Community this year have been other efforts to actually get us organised - BUT his biggest task is simply the Ticket Purchase page - unless you have a bloody UK Post Code you cannot order a ticket. So how ELSE can overseas fans get tickets apart from through mates. Hopefully that will change hopefully the club can tweak the software and hopefully the groups around the world can start to get some official affiliation. London Saints have never found it difficult to get match tickets. Hopefully soon the massive in Moscow or Mumbai can join the loonies from Brisbane in being able to even BUY tickets online. And for me? I have a Season Ticket as it was the only solution. Because clearly once we are in the CL every year in our 60,000 seat stadium we will have a 20 year waiting list for ST's and when I am old and decrepid (next week) I want to be able to sit with my blanket, flask of coffee and my mates.

Just for any casual browsers passing by who don't have tickets. The resale is next week 24/27 April. It is next to impossible to get tickets at this time in the general sale. However last couple of times I have got tickets for pals by going straight to the combined Coach & Festival tickets.Sure you have to get to London or somewhere unaccessible at silly o'clock and are only allowed one bag BUT you can buy gear at the site OR get a mate to take it down for you as we did last time we went. Just an idea
