Lol. Proof yet again that this Forum leads the World in discussing the most crucial International Topics of the Day and bringing them to the attention of the great global media machine.

Kin-ell anybody would think its a leper Colony down our end of the ally, should we close the draw bridge and get a tow to Australia, Nope, very bad idea. There's actually some nice people in Australia, not many I will admit, but they sure don't deserve you Think you'd fit in very well in somewhere like Sudan or possibly the Swat Valley

Think Bournemouth went down that road, didn't they go Admin CVA admin?

Ooh someone else spotting that AA is renowned for bringing the IP Industry into disrepute. Nothing illegal of course and nothing that does anything but give a success for his paymasters and his business. But, like those Urimat waterless urinals that you find in Pubs loos these days - it may say everything is fine, no chemicals water or odours, but it still leaves a nasty smell

Think it is early days. We've seen the possibility that the new registered Posters New Thread Amnesty has increased the number of topics available for us to discuss, but to say it has gained momentum yet may be a bit premature. Oh Sorry was joshing - another bad first half display, could have easily been dead and buried at HT. But on the bright side a 3-1 away win. Personally I'd prefer to say a confidence builder BUT a big kick up the ass. Hopefully they WILL take the lesson on board and this will be the start of something special. Momentum yes OK look at the results. Enough to take us up? IMHO not yet

Ah, someone else knows this one as well.

Wow, I've been away too long. I see that being a Hairist is now a hanging offence, watch out at footie games calling ref's you bald headed ***** you'll end up being dissected in some lab to find out what went wrong with the grand plan. Meanwhile she really is a **** of the first order and hope she gets b1tch slapped because of this

Good news. Gives us 3 decent CM players and also gives us a nice combination of options depending on the type of game and opposition. We've needed someone in that role for the past 2 seasons

Entire first half kept cutting out. County stream lasted longer than the Saints stream. Had to logout login reboot 3 times. When first started up the stream seemed compressed and the volume was poor. Second half Solent stream worked fine and then collapsed again a couple of times near the end. Not good enough and it was NOT a "international bandwidth issue" as Eric seemed to have trouble at different times to me

Holding up a "how things are different" banner for just a moment, down here they have this whole thing about "who goes through a door first" thing that I've never quite worked out. Certianly much more so than in Europe, a lady is always deferred to and even a wizened Westerner will step back to allow a "Local" Lady to go first. But then when you get Arabs there is this whole thing about "The person on the right of you goes first" unless they are a guest in the country. (At least I THINK it is the right!) It can be quite amusing when in, for example, an elevator. Some older (yes Eric there ARE some) Arabs standing to the right will insist that I go first. Yet to be polite because they are on my right I insist they go first, so of course the fecking elevator doors close. You also come across it in Shopping Malls a great deal, as a "Manners" thing, the locals actually react with almost shock if you defer to them because you are aware of the whole left right thingy. Back in Blighty, one thing I have noticed besides the "very few people bother to say thankyou" is that when you hold the door open for one, you seem to create a black hole that you disappear into and something like 20 people all just walk through and yet NONE of them bother to take over the door holding responsibility, and just expect you to stand there all day (oh and NONE of the "following masses" ever seems to say thanks). Have to say, when that happens, I finally reach the point of saying - oh feck you - and just let go. Some people simply forgot to wake up and become aware when they were born I guess. Many of them drive the same way!

OK the result is great and a big morale boost. But, that is the second away game in a row where we forgot to turn up for the kick-off, and produced kindergarten errors of marking from set pieces. Something somewhere still needs to be tightened up, either it is complacency in the players or concentration, but it is still down to things possibly being done wrong on the training ground. (Familiarity breeds contempt maybe? Our facilities are too good and too professional for this level?) If we are to really move on and make this a memorable season then these (possibly) mental problems have to be solved, on another day - as at Huddersfield - we may not be able to mount a stirring comeback as we are too far out the game already. Don't believe it is simply a "manager" thing at all, think sometimes our players really don't seem to start the games understanding they have to fight for the right to be "The Best Squad in this League". At home they can impose themselves with pace and skill. Sometimes away they may need to think more. If we don't solve it, we'll still win enough to go up but IMHO we will still have a roller coaster ride. If we DO sort it out then we really could be on our way and with two games to come against Brighton we could cruise past them before the end of the season. Overall great start for Adkins, much better position now than last season and much more fun on the match thread watching the first half wrist slitters morph into Happy Bunnies, and it certainly left me in a great mood last night. But I am damned sure our Nige won't get carried away by the return of our long lost friend the 3-1. Still work to be done I believe.
