  1. Nice finish that
  2. Inevitably preceeded by a dodgy Palace sending off.
  3. I wouldn't even ask him to pass the salt.
  4. Quite worrying in what respect? Worrying is for when we were stuck in a relegation battle, a few games away from going out of the league. Slipping down the table from 4th to 5th is nothing more than a mild inconvenience.
  5. 5 points between bottom of the table Leicester and 12th place Everton.
  6. T'riffic work Harry.
  7. 10 defeats in a row away from home for QPR.
  8. Sounded all West Ham in the last 20 minutes from Matty's updates on Soccer Saturday. Fabianski made a couple of great saves apparently.
  9. I'M THE DADDY NOW.
  10. Pompey losing. I wanted to go to Eastleigh but the kids were being grumpy and we didn't. They're 3-0 up.
  11. It's games like this that show just why our top flight is the best league in the world.
  12. As others has said the chant we stole from Celtic is fine, in fact it sounds incredible if it's sung at the right speed but sadly our dimwitted fans can't seem to manage that.
  13. The "stick a tall man up front and lump it in the box for 10 minutes" brigade won't be happy with that.
  14. Saw them in the summer. They were excellent live. I'm going to the Guildhall gig.
  15. More shoegaze.
  16. I was there too. My mate left because he had money on us to win and was so stressed watching us defend the lead after Ipswich got a late goal that he went back to the pub and missed it.
  17. 100 million percent. That's also the strength of Phil Brown's favourite shade of fake tan. Also, is there any other kind of skate other than the common one?
  18. Yes, that's what I was told too when I asked a colleague at the Police.
  19. Both of which are slight variations on the Private Eye picture of Savile and Thatcher last year
  20. £40 in the wings, or £38 restricted view. Only 1800 tickets so they'll go pretty quick.
  21. Bonneville is in W1A *turns over*
  22. Yes, she's great. Nighty Night and Human Remains both excellent shows. People Like Us was brilliant, I'd forgotten all about that. Such a pity no more were made. I didn't watch Twenty Twelve because of a thing about Hugh Bonneville that can't be mentioned. Have set W1A to record. I wanted to like Shappi Khorsandi but she was quite predictable. The odd gentle laugh and nice observation but if I'm paying for comedy I want a bit more than that.
  23. Sunday the 27th February? Stupid Echo.
  24. The UK doesn't do great sitcoms. For example The Thick Of It has to be one of the funniest shows ever, yet couldn't be described as a sitcom. From recent memory the only ones that have really made me laugh were Friday Night Dinner, Him & Her, Pulling and the sadly departed IT Crowd. Funny female comedians seem quite thin on the ground other than those already mentioned, especially in the UK. Sara Pascoe is good, some of Laura Solon's stuff on R4 is excellent. Shappi Khorsandi gets a lot of good press but whenever I've seen her has been largely poor. Bridgett Christie seems decent, Josie Long is funny at times although I saw her late at a festival and she sent me to sleep. Not strictly a comedian, but I'm going to mention Sharon Horgan because I want to marry her.
  25. Barbara Windsor is 26 years older than her husband. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/i363167/celebrity-cougars-gallery-barbara-windsor-and-scott-mitchell.html
