One of Lloyd's shots hit my mate's son full in the stomach. Floored the nipper and he threw up over his Dad and a lady in front of him. All sorted out by the medics and he still enjoyed the match (he's slowly getting converted from a dubious allegiance to Spurs, and Lloyd's his favourite player...) but he would have been made up (and fully converted if like Punch Lloyd had gone over after the game

Remember him hitting the bar with a similar shot in one of his first games at SMS? At that point I thought we had a proven midfield goalscorer on our books :s

Can't we just clone Ricky?
-
With a few minutes to go he turned to the Saints end and started clapping at us I think because he thought we were a bit quiet. Prompted us to break into OWTSGMI. Nuff said.

"Challenging for the Premiership". In three seasons? Does he mean challenging for the title or just playing there?

One of the units on the industrial estate behind the Chapel sell it, had a big banner up after the Area Final...
-
Good to have him in the squad to keep Puncheon on his toes, or as a late impact sub. Potential to improve (as has Puncheon who needs to work on his consistency)

There was a stretch Hummer with a load of Carlisle in it, can't begin to think how much fuel that used on the way down!

Pub outside Euston station was rammed solid at 11am, and very loud

My grandad on Mum's side, and Nan on Dad's side. Both mad Saints fans and long gone. Welled up singing Abide with Me @ Cardiff thinking of them. Also going with my Dad tomorrow, 5 years since he survived 5 heart attacks and MRSA, going to be a very special and memorable afternoon. Saints for me has always been about the family, and its great to have mine there whilst I still can

If the eight year old I saw outside the Northam a couple of games ago can sing Strawberry Grower, so can we. Should be plenty of country types there to give it the right accent Or On the Woolston Ferry!

Exciting young Saints players who have not made the grade

Tijuana, yeah that was Mark Peters, he played with Scott McDonald a lot. Seem to remember at the time both got a bit too big for their boots (Peters particularly). Didn't McDonald have a massive falling out with WGS? Remember him playing in the League Cup against Brighton on 9/11 and scoring a couple, then he barely played for us again. -
A Cup Final build-up wouldn't be the same without a few injury worries to give us sleepless nights between now and Sunday. Hope that Morgan is OK. Was Lallana injured or rested? A Saints team without Puncheon, Lallana, Barnard, & Morgan is not the force it has been in recent weeks.

Barnard & Fonte songs were quality

It was fine when I went to the American Football last October, and that had 90,000 in the stadium. Left at the final whistle and was on the M3 within an hour. Was parked in the official multistory. Took me 20 minutes to get in to the car park before the match.

Just bought 8 via the website even though I've already got 2 as a season ticket holder. Most strange...

I feel like I've been to a gig, my ears are ringing, was the Northam really that loud tonight???

He is the new Forbes Phillipson-Masters

Complete domination. Awesome workrate from all the lads bearing in mind they'd played on Saturday. Barnard and Ricky all over the place, tackling back and marking up. Fonte must be getting bored ****less, he had nothing to do all night. Best performance since we put Spurs to the sword in the FA Cup, 5 goals, 2 posts and a crossbar. And remember this is a Huddersfield side that stretched Leeds all the way at the weekend. Can't wait for Leeds now, want to avenge that 4-3...

winter olympics better than Summer olympics

Ice Hockey was bloody awesome tonight, oh to be in Vancouver at the moment. As the commentator said it was like watching England beat Germany in a World Cup final at Wembley. Time to buy Miller & Molson shares! -
Puncheon absolute quality, our best winger for ages. Would say we are stronger on the right than we are on the left now. Barnard took his goals well and having him in the side should spur Ricky on to greater heights (he's got real competition for top scorer in this league now. Absolutely no weaknesses in the side, Hammond & Spiderman battle well in the middle, Lallana busts a gut every time he plays, and Fonte/Jaidi are rock solid. Nice strong core to the team, which is always important. Really enjoyable today, had to laugh as I walked out of the Northam and heard a lad who could only have been 8 or 9 singing Strawberry Grower

There was one similar to the Steve Gerrard song that didn't make sense (not that they have to) but that would be quality, always loved bellowing that out, the noise was immense when he scored against the skates...

Ouch. Similar or worse than the Eduardo injury?

They kicked AFC Wombledon out of I think the Trophy (might be the Cup proper) two seasons ago for fielding an ineligible player.

Lavender oil can help - drop it on a cotton pad and stick it under your pillow. Boots or Holland and Barratt will sell it. Very heady aroma and a natural sleep-inducer. Setting a routine and sticking to it can help as well. Definitely stay off the alcohol and other stimulants (tea & coffee). Other homeopathic remedies are lemon balm and cherry active. As others have said get the snoring checked out (I'm completely unaware that I do but it wakes me up throughout the night)
