My stupid way to change football idea is; if the attacking team kick the ball over the goal line or if the ball comes off a keeper the attacking team gets a corner, to get a goal kick the defender has to kick it out over the goal line. This would favour the attacking team, so if a shots goes just wide they get to carry on attacking.

That is miles funnier than your Tottenham flu story you bored us with yesterday.

GRs poor performance has been a contributory factor to our low finish. I would stick with him though for another season, however if someone matched his fee and the money facilitated a shovel ready player then I wouldn't be too bothered. He will haunt us though in a CL semi one day.

This. I thought the 'bale bale bale' chant would come back and haunt us. Lots of 'welsh ****' ranting all game where I was sitting. The football match of the future. Half the players not shaking each others hands because of some sort of slight, round of applause every other minute for injured or dead players followed by booing if the other team does not join in, players not being allowed to celebrate scoring against a old club unless the split was accremonious. It reminds me of Wimbledon, we have no chance of winning anything so the journalists are desperate for the top players to say that Wimbledon is the best tournament in the world. Saints have no chance of winning anything so we are desperate to point out the saints connection of any good player. I dont want to read another article on our academy I want to read stories regarding the first team success.

If I was a rugby club I would be seriously ****ed off with my world cup going to football grounds, but then again professional rugby is not a national sport.
-
Can't see anything on this, the list of grounds will be released on Thursday.

I hope they dont rush Shaw back. Leave him out until next season, we shouldn't want to risk bringing him back for what should be dead rubbers.

Thats right because the theatre is full of fancy dress wearing Mexican wavers. Mate you must be embarrassed by that line.

Pochettino targets Champions League spot next season
Fan The Flames replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
You moan about people being over the top then you come out with the biggest drama queen statement of the century, are you for real. Anyway the Swansea fans were moaning about their boys being at the beach, but don't let the views of those that go every week get in the way of your armchair analysis, after all you wouldn't want to miss an opportunity to come on here and sneer. -

Look what the Echo has started, Turkish and his muppets will sneer this out at every opportunity next season when we sign someone or lose a game. -
There are loads of players dropped that have made it. Ian Wright is the classic example; we dropped Dennis Wise, Graham Roberts and Kevin Phillips who all went on to do quiet well. We benefited from Pompey failing to sign up Bobby Stokes grhs.

Red and White Stripes Black Shorts next year
Fan The Flames replied to Horton Heath Saint's topic in The Saints
The current kit looks great on Sky and it goes well with a pair of jeans. More importantly I hear the Asian fans love it. -
Thats not justice is it, thats just an understanding of the facts. If my kids were killed at a football match I wouldn't rest until those who were to blame were put on trial. Its not about the money for any of the families its about seeing those at fault being held accountable.

A draw is the no brainer as it distributes 2 points to our rivals instead of 3 and keeps both teams below us, unless you really think there is a danger of Sunderland catching us then the Newcastle win is the worst result.

You've been wrong since at least 2004

The badge is brilliant and doesn't need changing, it is certainly not childish. It shape of it always seems a bit anthropomorphic to me, the Southampton FC black bit is like legs spread wide with and opened flower exposed and the tree is like a pair of breasts and the black bit on the ball is like an open round mouth of someone with their head leaning back. Do the shop do a large blow up version.

True colour shown by danner.

Must have missed the bit where you qualified 'regardless of who they are'.

I know Matt is from Guernsey, I meant the Combined Counties seems like a strange league for Guernsey. You would have thought that the Wessex or Western leagues would have been the league to play in. Whats the story.
-
Do Guernsey play in the Combined Counties League, it seems like a strange choice to me.

But doing it weekly also causes some of his problems; he obviously thought that QPR would go on a run, so he kept predicting them to win. If he was asked to predict the next 6 games he wouldn't have predicted QPR to win six on the trot but as he was doing it on an individual basis and was thinking that a win was coming led him to get predicting them to win. The mistake it seems that he made was ignoring the form and believing the Harry hype that all the press bought into.

I don't see anyone wailing apart from you and CB Fry. The thread, if you even bothered to read it, was a tongue in cheek prediction of Lawrenson's prediction. You are obsessed with telling people on here what they should be thinking. Turkish ruining threads since 2007.
