You are a classic. You continue to slag NA off, then slag the decision off to sack him then slag the man off to replace before you even know anything about him. Continue to keep up the good work the forum needs people like you.

This has knocked me for six. We were all aware that they had a strained relationship but I did truly think that NC would have given NA at least a season. NA has responded well to all the challenges this season and I was really enjoying the battle at the bottom because it seems that the hard work of the players and management team were paying off. I am sorry to see you go Nige and team. Best of luck in the future. People were all crying out for a new centre back, you got to be careful what you wish for.

The promotion game and the FA cup game the other night were 6 months apart, HTH.

****in excellent result. -
You get someone in who would be first choice and Shaw goes back to being cover and you bring him on more slowly.

Maybe they were singing about Reading. I see nothing wrong with their promotion 'party', just fans celebrating like we did.

I hope Ruben Loftus-Cheek makes it for his name alone.

No it's in the right sequence, first RX, then Air Florida who went tits up half way through the season and then Draper stepped in. -
I don't know why people are hard on him; we bought him and gave him the contract he is on, he did a job for us in L1, he wasn't regarded in the champ so we don't know how he would have turned out.

I do a little Thomas Brolin spin in the air and when I land I break into a session of hand jiving. How low can you go? How low can you go? How low can you go? How low can you go? Higher, higher, higher and higher

Its at xmas time that I wish we didn't play in red because a club colour co-ordinated santa hat is the dogs. I saw a green Argyle one the other year , nice. Anyway I'm off to bed to dream about Santa ****in Turkishes dead mum. -
I have a good mate who is a Brighton fan and the last time LWS mentioned this I set him the task of seeing whether there was any rumour his end. With very little digging at all he found a few people whose stories were very similar. It may just be unsubstantiated rumour, it may be true but to me it seems to make sense.

You called it early.

Surely it is a massively hypocritical to be defending Lowe by calling Crouch and Co fantasists; their gamble as you put it, others would call it a strategic push, very nearly paid off. It was closer than Lowe's attempt the season before when he had a demoralised squad playing on half wages, another fine idea of his that didn't work. We did pump money into the academy, as we had to under FA rules, but it wasn't like we were swimming against the tide, clubs have always been trying to develop players so they can avoid transfer fees and cash in when a good one comes along, it has always made sense and even more so in the 90's when players fees were increasing. I don't see why Lowe should be lauded becase one or two clubs when mental with transfer fees and wages and we remained prudent, prudance got us relegated twice. We were heading no where fast with or with out the money Crouch spent trying to get us promoted back to the big money, with the stadium debt we were going to run at a loss outside of the prem even with Lowes prudent return (to protect his money, not for the good of SFC) and the truth is the reason we and Sheffield Wednesday are where we are is because we went bust and they didn't.

Good RL still sounds bitter about getting the elbow from us. People talk as though RL invented the acadamy system, clubs have been bringing players through since year dot.

You boo players with Raynaud's disease, shame on you.

Despite last nights result, we will still beat them by a two goal margin.

I would spunk my wad on Ryan Shawcross

It wasn't the TV mike that amplified it so NA or Fonte could hear it, so I suggest it was audible at pitch level. I haven't read the whole thread but what I've seen is no one on here has defended the booing, so is there anyone on here who will admit it. This ******** about being entitled to voice your view is, I believe, trumped by your responsibility to the team. Bunch of c#nts.

The weekend of 17/18 Nov there were no nil-nils in the four league divs and the three conference leagues.
