  1. Is Faustinio Asprella (spelling) available.
  2. Yeah i enjoy these posts. Born in West End but moved to NZ but back in time to see us win the cup at the age of 5 and on my dads shoulders for the open top bus the next day. We mobe again at the age of 9 to Sussex. So I've only lived in Southampton for a small part of my life, was brought up by a Plymouth mad Dad who refused to take me to the Dell but took all over the country to see Argyle and I followed Brighton home and way for four seasons for the crack and lager and now exciled in Kent. All through this I've been a Saint and its been great (most of the time).
  3. You will find a way, afterall you've managed to teach yourself to talk out of your ar#e
  4. Another keyboard basher wading in. Your lack of sympathy is shocking.
  5. The guys lost a grand, I think he's entitled to have a rant.
  6. I want Herford next and Norwich in the Southern final.
  7. Its easy for us guys who havn't lost a bean to think the whole situation is great, but I'm sorry for those that have lost big figures. I would happily donate £20 to a fund to be redistributed to fans that have lost large sums.
  8. What about the 86 cup game, I was a teenager going to school in Brighton and went in the home end with my Brighton mates. They must have held the Saints fans back at the turnstiles because the away end was empty and then there was this roar as the saints fans came storming over and down the terrace enmass, it was like zula dawn. And a 2 nil win to boot, some big lads from school came over and I had to scrap my way out of the North Stand.
  9. Email from a Brighton mate of mine; There will be nothing for you chaps to concern yourselves with regarding any possible momentum brought about by today's appointment. I am afraid he will have far too much to do before he can plug the holes in our remarkably leaky defence. Splendid fellows that they are, our defenders could not stop a pig in a passage. Good, I hope he's right.
  10. Just had a look at the spread of Brighton wins against us and they seem to have a little flurry of wins every 25 years or so, so we are due another about now. Forever may have to wait a week.
  11. http://www.soccerbase.com/head2.sd?team1id=2471&team2id=381 Brighton havn't beaten us since 1981, so hopefully Sky TV or new manager won't have any effect and we stroll on out of the bottom 4 of division 3. When we do I expect we never return there again in my life time.
  12. The Brighton fans will be excited by that, still we will ruin their little party on Sunday
  13. Genius, he expends his suspension and doesn't get cup tied, all for the price of a crate of champagne.
  14. I would like to see a European club tournament played every four years (obviously a lot of finer details to be decided). It would get rid of the annual footbal gravy train that benefits a few clubs but has an inflationary effect on costs for all clubs. It's keeping up with bank, company or state rolled European clubs that has caused the wages to jump so dramatically since the conception on the CL. For what, there are so many European games that the seasons are staring to merge in my mind and there isn't anything special about it anymore. Limiting international players is not the answer either full time European League or less european football, the big clubs shoud be forced to decided between the two. But of course UEFA don't want to lose control.
  15. The chairman could remember what floorboards he had left the cash under and has only just found it.
  16. 12001 is my guess
  17. You report a slightly edited version, a protest was held outside the ground by upto 40 people. What you fail to add is that more people were shouting at them to shut up and the Celtic chairman shook his head in disgust at the protest. Your genaralisation is about as helpful as the protestors.
  18. Wycombe is the district in which High Wycombe is located.
  19. The 7 is next to the 6 on the keyboard, typo rather than mistake maybe.
  20. There are rules about loanees in the FA Cup and the loaned club has to get permission from the loaner club, so I would assume as no permission was given he would be ineligible to play.
  21. Loads of preaching by Dell D**k and others, watching the FA Cup goals programme and no team is wearing black arm bands. So fair enough question by the op.
  22. Gillingham, up the road for me and we have to wait until may for this game in the league.
  23. The perils of having loan players, you'll always have this will he won't he stuff. The sooner we own all our players the better.
  24. We did well, Rovers were always going to throw everything at us when they were 3 nil down, so its no surprise we let a goal in and the peno was boarderline. We were the dominate side and looking forward to the draw.
