But equally you chastise LM at every oportunity whilst lauding Lowe, yet financially they made the same contribution but LM showered us with success and Lowe gave us mediocrity. Average top flight position before Lowe 12th after Lowe 13th. Facts is facts not much of a Lowe peak is it, especially when you add in two relegations and admin. What is the past reputation that you are resting on.

How much is it to get into AFC Wimbledon?
-
Its no surprise you dislike Lawrie, first rule of Lowe Club. I think you will find people disliked Lowe's average running of the club, two relegations and admin, remember. Pathetic seeing the summer we had.

Nice

Yes 500k according to Soccerbase. It would be great to get hold of him, he was excellant against Charlton. Shame to see Preston in financial trouble; I thought they had a backer obviously not.
-
We will keep a clean sheet, I'll be pleased with more than 1 goal.

His first comment about LM and expenses, which is plainly provocative and then he gets all up himself when people get cross. For me LM was the best manager this club has ever had, without him Southampton would be a Reading pre Madejski or like Luton Town or Carlise United, a football backwater. We would be probably be floundering winless at the bottom of the Div One; without the magnificant 27 top flight years beating the best, the cup win and finals the European games, St Marys, Matt Le Tissier etc etc. LM got us into the top flight at the right time and kept us there. I bet other clubs with a standout hero don't have the detracters we have. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I'm entitled to mine.

Stop taking the moral high ground, yes you are sad for judging someone you have met briefly and not stopping to think that there may be more to them. But that's not the real reason you don't like him is it, its because of the Lowe/Crouch schism, yet you moaned when someone mentioned that, up on that high ground again. You understood that people might disagree with you but those that voice it are sanctimonious self-righteous *****, still up there again you must be getting cold. If you want to have a pop at LM then be a man and start a thread and be prepared to stand by your views, instead of coming in under the radar with little snide comments and then getting shirty when people pick you up on it. I'll look forward to it as you will have me and countless others defending LM over anything you snide c#nts can throw at him.

No, someone has to be the best manager we never had, he not saying he's the best manager in the world. It just like saying you are the best Thedelldays on this forum.
-
But your comment wasn't innocuous though was it, first line of the third post and completly off subject you purposely questioned his integrity. You had nothing to say about the OP but wanted to slag LM of and then you get all shirty that you are misunderstood. What he achieved is enough for most Saints fans to ignore any minor personality flaws (of which I'm not aware of any) and to be perfectly honest if you dislike him because your paths happen to briefy cross in charity circles then you are very sad indeed.
-
Hangon a minute someone started a thread about an acedemic institution and you jump straight in slagging LM off, starting with a snide dig. There was no reason other that to tell everyone you dislike him, who cares what you think. Stop ****in moaning about people disliking your contribution and come back when the thread is about LM's personality, or start it yourself.

Invitation is just an dysphemism, you act as though you have a vast arsenal of verbal weapons awaiting anyone who dares to 'take you on', but its plain for all to see you are just a very average billy no-mates bully wannabe.

Good, because I had convinced myself this bloke was you, I almost said hello Ron how's your tunnel.

After my mild snipe at your pleasure walk yesterday, I was forced to walk 5 miles as the Medway Valley Railway line stops at 9.30 and the local bus stops half way down the line in the middle of no where, bloody public transport. So I had to walk the until the distance left to my house equalled the little taxi cash left in my pocket. Still my legs feel a bit toned this morning. By the way were you in the ground is shorts and walking trainers.

I don't like this kind of arguement, if the ref didn't give it because of a previous incident then the ref is wrong. Also I don't think Melis went down easily on the previous challenge, which I don't think was a penalty but a hard tackle just on the right side of the line. However 5 mins before that he gave Chalton a free kick in the same area for a similar challenge by a Saints player (poss Lambert), so where do you stop. So we might not have got the penalty because the ref thought Mellis went down easily, but thats not Mellis fault, its the refs.

I thought Charlton defended quiet deep and the couple of times we did push up we got behind them.
-
But Mr Unt you are such a big fan that your mere being counter acts the negative supporters. Your feel good black hole sucks in the bad vibes.

In my opinion we were not playing for a draw, we were on top the first half and the start of the second half. Chalton then had a period of dominance, which the other team will always have in most game s(especially if they are top of the table, won six in a row and at home). We countered it well with a good defensive display and a bit of luck and by the end we were pushing for a winner. That is my eyes is not playing for a draw, as Ron above pointed out the extra time was all us. If the **** ref had given the Melis penalty we would have got the win. Did anyone else think Charlton were far more physical in the second half, shows we got them rattled in the first half. Their number 5 was all arms, stopping our boys jumping effectively, this type of infringement is never clamped down but to me its equally as bad as diving.

Great day out and Saints look good with Trotman and Hammond my men of the match. There is every reason to feel relaxed about this season. I see the drama queens have been keyboard bashing. Art calling Pardew Pas Dieu, what a c#ck.
-
I plan to drive to Chalton dump the car early doors and get the tickets, over to Greenwich for a skin full. Watch the football, celebrate our first win popping pound coins in the pint glass up the Griffin and then drink drive all the way home.

Brilliant

We will beat them, its written in the footballing stars.

Aldershot would be fun, the last time I went there (to watch Brighton) years ago, we got showered with lumps of ****, happy days.

I remember being a subbed sub for Steyning Strikers when I was 8, ruined what I believe would have been a brilliant football career.
