Wotton is a good solid professional and in the right set up will do a job. In a failing team it's only the really good thst shine, so it was no surprise people like Wotton didn't stand out last season, however as the team progresses there could be a place for him if he brings some balance into the side.

I don't see the need for supporters clubs. London Saints and the like yes, as they give a focus and a place to meet for ex-pat fans but what is the point of a Southampton based club, they are normally full of self serving clicks who claim to speak for everyone. I suppose everyone can support the Saints anyway they want and if that includes forming a committee, showing their left nipple and chosing a chairman then so be it. I'd rather meet a few mates and have a pint before the match, each to there own.
