What a load of generaliastion going on in this thread, people citing Millwall as an example of a good atmosphere completly display therir ignorance, the New Den can not be described as raucous at all. Clubs are louder per head away from home but so are we and our home atmosphere is good, over the years I certainly haven't be blown away by many clubs. I think we should stop being so hard on ourselves. If people want different songs then start them, if people really think SFC will be a better place with more hollies then stop moaning about and go slap an away fan, if you are a little bit scared start on a granny or a kid and work you way up.

Totally agree. A cup run would be good for the team and us fans. I see the opening poster isn't suggesting playing a second side in the JPT now Wembley is in sniffing reach, therefore he must understand the lure of a cup run. I say go for it in all comps and see where we end up. Realistically dropping out of a cup competition isn't going to help our league campaign that much.

I think his performances against LO and BHA we not as good as performances before that and people are suggesting he was below par yesterday.

Instead of consigning him to the sh#t bin, maybe we should consider whether there are any reasons for his dip in form recently.

Places are called different names the world over, is Prague Praha or London Londres, the French call the English channel something else.

But football is standing by the principle that the rule of law is administered on the pitch during the 90 mins. Its does allow challenges after the match for violent behaviour or bringing the game into dispute, but only if these were not already dealt with by the ref. It is a principle that is tested to breaking point by this goal, but non the less it is a principle they are standing by. I would rather this consistent approach and I don't think it is for the footballing authorities to ask for a rematch. The French should have the balls to offer the Irish penalties back at their place or to resume the match at that point in time. Self governance is the best way. People moaning about why is it such big news in the UK, well our countries have been entwined for hundreds of years and many families have Irish in them, so its of no surprise people care that these guys chance to go the World Cup has been robbed by a millionaire footballer who has already won everything.

I think its a shame too, with the right conditions he could have been a star. Still he has played a part in his own downfall. Heres to the future.

What just like Carlton Granda and ITV sport, which th FL believed so much they wasted money taking them to court and lost. The admin rules are **** and badly drafted and they didn't want us driving a big coach through them.

What I liked about last nights play was that the team had a real buzz about them, the clubs had a buzz for awhile and now the team has. There was a fizz of energy, players giving each other options, classy moves, constant positive play. All illustrations of a good team spirit and high in confidence, it must be great to be a part of, its certainly good to watch. So for these reasons we are up there with the best. As a third div outfit these players won't be the best we've ever had but I do predict we will reflect fondly of them in years to come.
