For a lot of people they don't have any opinions that they agree with and that's the problem. Does GB News etc have to follow the same impartiality rules as other news outlets? Or can they keep pushing their agenda, paid for by sponsors that want to influence the public debate, with out any challenge. LBC radio had to rebalance it's output and it's gone from being Daily Mail radio to something a lot better.

The same rules apply to GB News as they do to the BBC.

I get the logic, but it doesn't always follow. Turning the corner with a struggling team can be easier than staging a season long promotion push. However to say RMs managerial achievements are without merit is wrong. Time will tell. Personally I wanted a bit more in our new manager but there's enough there to be hopeful this season and the fact he is a decent guy will buy him more credit to begin with.

I like what you're saying, but there is a difference between making improvements in a bad situation to building a promotion season. I'm sure his target is promotion, it is for mosts fans. I'm calmly hopeful of a good season.

My old company did that on a pitch for a school design job, we had The rapist room next door to the girls toilets. We didn't get the gig.

Please help support Oxford United’s new stadium proposal

Good luck with the new ground. Oxford City are closing the gap. -
I'm West Malling, been up to watch Gillingham a few times over the years, the football has always been a bit crap, but interesting to see Ben Reeves a few times.

To be fair the bad attitude thing gets thrown at all sorts of players.

It's it Romford, an awful drive from most places.

I never said they earnt the right to see women naked, no one has that right. If someone has been through reconstructive surgery then I think they should be allowed to use womens spaces. No one is going to go through all that to just be able to get into womens spaces for the wrong reasons. You haven't answered what greater threat a post operative trans woman poses over any women.

It'll cost too much money to re-nationalise.

It is hysterical, talking about mutilation, saving women and children. You can't dictate what someone can't do with their body. The issue here seems that you talk in obsolute terms, about gender and mutilation etc, whereas others are more nuanced. We are never going to agree.
-
What risk does a trans woman pose that a woman doesn’t. Would you say that someone who's had half a leg cut off for medical reasons has mutilated themselves. Your language is hysterical, you enjoy being wound up by all this.

That's currently how it is now isn't it. My daughter works with a male midwife and women can refuse to have him. Although they are happy to have a make gynecologist
-
You are being a drama king now. But yeah I think they would have earnt the right to use women spaces. Anyway when do we get naked in front of others. When I played in a football team in my 20s, we got changed in shitty changing rooms and when I was a member of an expensive gym, but even then you can use a cubicle if you wanted. When do women get naked infront of each other?

I think the penis rule works until we can sort this out. People with penises that door, people without penises the other door. Get some new names for the rooms and new designs for the door signs.
-
Could be. My old hospital put in gender neutral toilets, rooms straight off the corridor with single toilet and wash hand basin. It wasn't done for some woke agenda, it was cheaper to just put one toilet in and better for managing legionella risk.

I've done nothing but quote the law. I'm afraid there is nothing you can do about someone wanted to identify as the opposite gender, it's their life. But you can influence how it works practically. If you get out of your semantic rabbit holes. But I think there are people on both sides that just like shouting at each other. And the right love this stuff because they see it as a crack in the progressive way, so they are incentivise to keep shouting. But being progressive means maximising rights for all, including those rights already hard won, like womans right to safe spaces. So as I say, you can argue about the meanings of words until the cows and bulls come home, or you can try and find a way forward.
-
You might not like it but there is. A man can get a Gender Recognition Certificate, changing his gender without chopping his bits off. So legally you can be a woman with a penis. This whole area is full of people hiding behind semantics, yes a man can be a woman, if that's what they want to indentity as. But they can never be a person who was born a woman. Thats the semantics of it. Everything would be fine if it wasn't for the deep complications in all the everyday life stuff. It feels to me that if you still have a penis you shouldn't be allowed to go into women only spaces. A line needs to be drawn and that seems the fairest place. We need practical solutions, not just people shouting 'I'm a women' 'you're not a women' at each other.

My gay cousin lived in Brighton and was political when younger, but can't be arsed with it all now and leaves all the political stuff to what he calls 'the gayers' and has moved out to a smaller town.
