Three goals in injury time is doable, isn't it, isn't it, isn't ittttt ffs.

Typical LD spin. We had a great period under the Liebherrs, but the deinvestment happened under Kats watch when she was looking for a buyer. She then lumbered us with Gao. Net Spend Cup was trending on here. After the exodus of players when Potch left, the next season was saved by Koeman and his transfers.

This shit isn't just down to this season, this has been years in the making. From Kats long pockets and short arms, the Chinese frauds and the muppets now in change and all their failed recruitment policies along the way.
-
That would give me some enjoyment in this shit season.

Stoke Fan in peace here. Plus an apology.
Fan The Flames replied to Joebananas's topic in The Saints
I'm glad to see Will Smallbone doing well, I hate seeing these lads come through and then stagnate. So it's great that this opportunity has worked out well for him. I wouldn't want to sell him just yet. Nothing against you Joenanna, but I don't like Stoke. It's a bit irrational because it's come from nowhere in the 1990's, I think its because there is space for one shitty red and white striped team in the prem and obviously I would prefer it to be us. I think I hate Stoke and Everton more than Pompey. -
I've told my mum I don't want to do football anymore.

I was listening to the run up on BBC and they were just as bad. Steve Crossman was nauseating about the amazing gordie fans, he built up how loud the noise would be when the Newcastle team sheet was read out and it just didn't happen, there was a very ordinary cheer. The fawning over the newest rich team is irritating.

As a stripe fetishist, do you prefer the centre stripe to be white or red or the bloody awful variant where the centre of the shirt is where a red and white stripe meet. Personally I prefer a white stripe. I like all the kits with a white centre, candy stripe, Rank Xerox 1 & 2, Gareth Bale and you could include the two sashes. I like the white sleaved promotion kit as well, I like a bit if white it seems, apart from this years kit.
-
I love the wave kit, I squeeze into one and showcase it at my 6 aside every week. The candy stripes is well overdue a return.

I think you're right, that rings a bell, someone called him out and he turned nasty.

Didn't the Javi geezer scam someone on here or send links with viruses or something?

Southampton v Middlesbrough old ticket stubs wanted
Fan The Flames replied to Chris01642's topic in The Saints
I definitely went to the 04 or 05 game, might have a stub in my box of shit, will check. Will swap for Michael Carrick. -
Because JM didn't want the gig and Selles is here and the alternative for now.

I had a list for my son; Southampton, grand parents team or local team.
-
My son is 12 and he enjoys being the odd Southampton fan in a sea of big club followers. He was losing interest last year and I had a bout of guilt inflicting him with a 'making up the numbers club' that isn't his local club, so I said he could change clubs if he wanted. He said 'nah can't be bothered to change now'. Sums us up, he's still a fan because he can't be arsed to change.

Has anyone said our pursuit of him was made up twitter rumours, there is a photo of him in the Harbour Hotel, that only the Matt Le Tissier types coujd deny. What people did question was the reason why the deal broke down. From the article it seems that JM was interested but our difficult position and not being able to bring in his back room staff was a turn off, that he may have been able to overcome if the deal was longer. What it doesn't say was why we wanted the short term deal (plus extension), was it just caution on our part or our we tracking another preferred candidate.
-
Also 2 losses in 8, a load of draws, some with teams in and around them. Not that I want SP, just fleshing out the record a bit.
-
Are Saints fans trying to blame JM, it seems the other way around on here. Does their have to be any blame at all?
-
They didn't that's why the said 'Having no insight of any kind'. You need to get out of bed and go grab your glasses.
-
Was he telling the media after the game how brilliant he was at Bournemouth and how he had them playing front footed and agressive football.
-
Maybe they meant 2 years to go. As their next line was 'with two years left to run'.
-
Maybe it's on JM, maybe he was happy with a short term deal and that we thought it was all done and dusted. Then at the last knockings he wanted a longer deal, or he wouldn't come without his team or he wouldn't work with Selles, or he wanted a bigger signing on bonus or something. Maybe he thought he could draw us in, then we would be happy/have to change the terms of the deal. All speculation because we don't know yet. The Dyche deal took a while to conclude and I think I read on twitter that Everton just wanted him on a short term deal initially, then he held out. Moyes refused to go back to West Ham on a short term deal.
