  1. It's sad when a decent footballer, decent chap and decent servant to the club leaves. Good luck to him, I wish him all the best.
  2. Yes there are issues with what the squad will look like once the transfer window is closed. But on your point on last nights game introducing a problem, I don't get that, the loss will be put down to the amount of changes and second string players not following instructions or being good enough. That won't affect the first team players and should concentrate the minds of the decent 2nd string players to push on. Martin can easily create a narrative that is both positive to the first team and demanding of the second team.
  3. James noooo, don't go to that shithouse of a club.
  4. I think you are catastrophising. We played shit last night, a line can be easily drawn under it and we move on.
  5. Our season won't be defined after three games. I know as fans we all like to look for signs, but losing last night will have little impact on the season ahead.
  6. When a players kick the ball away after a free kick is given, its not always a show of dissent, it's done to allow their team to reset in to a defensive position. It might not be right but it's more gamesmanship then a show of dissent towards the ref.
  7. I agree changing rules mid season is wrong, especially when its prompted by the moanings from the big managers. Although the handball rule was so wrong, it had to be changed. I think it hit Eric Diers hand when he was facing the wrong way, which showed how wrong the rule was. Another rule change that fizzled out, was the extra 10 yards for dissent, saw it used once or twice and that's it.
  8. Lyanco was one playing off script, he was driving into space and playing the ball to no one, big diagonals to no one and getting himself frustrated and angry. I was disappointed in Bree, feel sorry for the bloke for the way he's ended up here and was hoping he would put in a good showing, but his passing was off, got caught in possession, gave the ball away for the first goal with a blind pass to no one. There seem to be so little movement in the team, we played the ball around to open up some space but no one moved in to the space, so we had to go back and start the move again. There was one point in the second half where the play was on the left hand wing and the other players where all on the right hand side on the pitch static, just watching, there was a massive hole in the middle and know one moved into it. Our touch was poor, we struggling to carry the ball past a player. It had disaster written all over it in the first five minutes.
  9. Who drew first blood, SOG or the mob, we will never now, it is lost in the mist of time. We need a Camp David to restore the peace, "ooh hello boys, my name's David, you can call me Dave, oh Turkish you like you work out, you can sit next to me"
  10. He's right about a lot and is mocked constantly.
  11. That's right, you never see a Gillingham shirt in Maidstone. One of the reasons Gillingham is a small club is that they have no wider Kent support, people will support London clubs or their local non-league side over Gillingham. I did a job in Gillingham and got chatting to a old boy, who was moaning about a foreign surveyor not understanding the area, I asked where the surveyor was from, he said Maidstone, the two towns are 5 miles apart.
  12. Rochester High Street is best for pubs, one stop from Gillingham and loads of trains.
  13. Mine haven't come yet 😠
  14. My point being specifically about those two goals, you could see with the naked eye in real time that there was no offside to worry about.
  15. The two goals scored yesterday wouldn't have bothered VAR at all, you could easily have instantly celebrated unhindered.
  16. Martin said last night we aren't buying anyone until players leave.
  17. A goal is credited to whatever attacking player touches it last, so Tella gets the assist. They could follow the same rules for when it deflects of a defender, that if the orignal shot was on target then it gets credited to the shooter. But then you are getting into the realms what was and wasn't an unintended deflection. They need rigid rules so there is certainty in the betting markets.
  18. This is brilliant, because the government has to fight inflation the Tories can't dodge or fudge the real world consequence of Brexit. They have had to admit for the first time that there is a Tory Brexit Tax.
  19. Mate stop this school boy debating shit, if you can't see that those statements are complete unconnected then you're a bit stupid.
  20. That'll be the first time that I'm packing a Monster Munch.
  21. Better model may cost more shocker.
  22. You're really trying hard to gotcha me, you are just looking silly. I never said the second paragraph, lot's of people dont have a choice, for those that don't its very easy to be ULEZ compliant. You guys are really catastrophising the situation.
  23. People change cars all the time for newer models. Those that can't afford to carry anymore debt can sell and buy a car of similar value.
