Totally agree, it should be a partnership, but the Tories are continually distancing themselves from their role in it.
-
Yes, but it helps the wealthy and the money movers, so the money skimming industries will do alright, and these are the professions of the true tories, the people the tories only really care about.
-
The tories have repeatedly said inflation is for the independent BoE, they are already getting their blame game sorted.
-
I don't think that is the case, tory turkeys may have wanted Johnson out but so did the right of the party. This is moving towards the tory government Steve Baker and his crew wanted. Edit I've just reread your post - the turkeys are the red wall tory voters, not the anti Johnson tory MPs. Get it now.

I would rather go for a pint with Ralph, that settles it for me.

It's clearly not virtue signalling, it's been declared a bank holiday so most people will want to have it off. My hospitals aren't automatically cancelling booked outpatients or electives and as London based feel they need extra staff on (than a planned BH) to cover for more visitors who might fall ill. So we will have more staff on than a normal BH all on enhanced pay rates and are spending this week phoning patients to see if they plan to keep their appointment on Monday. It would have been simpler to have had the funeral on the Sunday.

Our continued enjoyment of news footage of someone canoeing down a flooded high street.

He also said that the UA is just a proxy army for the USA and UK. They love to blame the evil west I was distracted on the last bit where he said Putin was too moderate or something.

You can hold both positions, cricket showed that today.

The Old Firm derby a game too far for 37 year old Steven Davis.

Exactly, LDs logic is complete pony.

The flag not going up for offsides has been around for a whe, it's so fundamental to the current way of reffing offsides, otherwise the advantage is always with the defensive team who would have two bites at getting an offside; from the linesman and from VAR. The linesman can flag for an offside that they are sure about, and the flag is left until the player who is offside touches it and it then becomes offside. This gives the option for the offside person to not touch the ball and allow an onside player to continue the move, I think this adds a new and decent dimension to the gane. Also it also allows for the opposition to collect the ball, ie if the ball rolls through to the keeper, and for the game to continue without the time consuming free kick.

I'm in West Kent and I've seen a few Saints fans around here, my lad was reffed a couple of times last season by a kid in a saints training top, there's another Saints fan at his school, my daughter had two teachers who were Saints fans, bumped into a few in South East London and was playing football in Newham last week with my Saints kit on and one of the lads playing was a Saints fan from Shirley. I saw a bloke in a Saints kit in Canary Wharf the other week, I shouted 'up the the Saints' as we neared each other and he blanked me 😄, left me looking like a loon shouting at no one. A provincial club but we have a few fans dotted around.

8-0 to Liverpool, 2 more goals and we pass that shit on to Bournemouth.

Loved David Armstrong, loved that team. Very sad to hear the news.
-
I'm afraid you are wrong, yes it has less long term significance but it's there as a record of where we are now, the worst team in the prem.
-
They can't be too cautious and trying to be too clever at the same time.

Agree. If he can't put his right foot through it or his right foot on the ball and then play it with his left then we are in trouble. We looked open like we did against Spurs in 2020 when Son scored 4, if I remember rightly we tighten up after that one.
-
Because they're paid by the club. Also it's the first game of the season, went one nil up away from home, played well in patches. There was stuff for someone wanting to be positive to be positive. It shouldn't matter, you can see the truth, Ralph can, they can.

For me it's just more of the same, we've been at this point for far too long. I'm sure we will pick up and then drop off and then have a blinder followed by a shit result. We look so vulnerable at the back and toothless up front. We haven't progressed at all, I'm getting to the point where I'm don't care enough, this is the worst place I've been at as a Saints fan ever.

You can see it with your own eyes. Of course the clubs channels are going to be positive.

I see that Salisu og at least once a month by some fat 50+ player.
