People need to realise that the landscape has changed For the first time in decades we do NOT have to sell our best players to keep the club afloat If Lallana goes it would only be because he really wanted to go and AP counldn't persuade him to stay. Lallana isn't as stupid as some ....and recognises that at his age a year or so with regular appearances is better than warming your arse on a bench in the Premiership

Much depends on who we buy in January What we need to remember is that the money and comitment is now there to push on We've got a reasoanble run of games coming up and we still have a very outside chance of Playoffs At least we're winning games and looking like we could score goals ..shame the Defence leaks so many recently

Disappointed not to win but came away thinking a draw was a fair result .....I see Lloyd James is the new whipping boy on here for the moaners :-( He didnt have a a good game ...true ...but he's not a right back by first choice and looked more comfortable in midfield when Murty came on It wasnt so long ago that Lallana was getting a similar slagging For a young player it's obvious James has got talent ... he needs a bit of support on here and not slagging off IMHO

AP persuaded him to stay this year so that he could play and not spend long periods warming a bench at a club in a higher league A lesson well learnt If we keep progressing and get back to the Prem within 3 years (IF!) I think he will stay One important point we need to remember is that we no longer HAVE to sell players to finance the club ....

In a nutshell ..Yes

Was at the game last night ...but had to sit with some Gas mates in a Rovers Stand!!! ...after Connolly's second goal went in I just thought "what the fc*uk" and went mental .....and fortunately lived long enough to go even more mental when Antonio scored the third :-) Great result but strange game ...in the first half we certainly didn't play as well as we have been playing recently ..but in the second half our quality showed through Also stange in that I wasn't suprised we conceeded a stupid goal and a penalty (it was raining by then and we don't like the rain much) .....but I honestly never thought we are in danger of not winning the game ... A feeling I haven't had for years. Connolly is a living God ...FACT. He will score bucket fulls if he stays fit

Realistically survival in League 1 is our aim this year with a push back to the Championship next If we get to the playoffs this year it will be a minor miracle

Nice to finally see a defence in place when you don't have to sh*te yourself at every cross or set piece ...there were times today when I almost felt calm ...haven't had that feeling with us for years

Agree And whatever people are saying that handball was a penalty ..the lino was spot on IMHO .....as were his offside decisions with Papa

We played reasonably well today We won We will start to win a lot more - FACT We are on our way back FFS can some on here stop moaning!! Just accept the win and move on you sado's
