Look at how much better Ranieri has done with the same group of players who were relegation fodder under Pearson. I saw Arsenal have just poached Leicester's head of recruitment / scouting.

Global warming really is happening... (well, duh!)

****ing hell. Desperate stuff that epitomises the pitiful level of knowledge amongst the sceptics. Fwiw that was the ozone hole caused by CFCs - an entirely separate and different issue. . The scientists were right then too - CFCs were banned, the hole is repairing and you can still spray pledge using a different propellant. -
so they didnt want to win an election every previous time they diluted workers rights?

Misses the point imo. £85 for an FA Cup final is a better value day out than £40 to watch Watford away

I wont be able to enjoy the game until they correct the spelling

That simply exemplifies how far the current Tory party has moved from its one nation past. Its been captured by a bunch of intellectually bankrupt lightweight idealogues. Its exactly the reason I don't vote for them any more.

Fair enough, apologies. You should take Hutch's advice and get a consultation with a tax accountant because from a laypersons view it looks as though you could be liable.

I love it that someone who owns three houses signed up to be joint owner of his mums house so he can be super smart and avoid inheritance tax is now facing CGT cos Mum fancies a cruise or other good time.

It is - but despite that median household income is at the same levels as 2004. Increasingly what used to be afforded by one parent working now frequently requires two. A generation ago essentials like housing were relatively cheap and luxuries like foreign holidays expensive. Now that is reversed. Im not sure thats progress.

You've just proved you can't. You change subject so it should be two separate sentences, not one.

Good job its a June and not January vote!
-
Thats true to some extent, but a bigger factor imo is that older people are more likely to vote - which is why pensioners tend to get favoured by governments over younger people. There is quite a marked age split between remain and leave.
-
Polls show pretty consistently that a narrow majority of the country want to stay, but that the outs are more likely to vote. Impossible to call atm.

This place is owned by Mytyres but is usually cheaper than them. http://www.tyres-outlet.co.uk/ They're both good, but check how long delivery is going to be if you're in a rush. The tyres are often sent from Germany and can take ages. Also ensure you are comparing fully fitted price with fully fitted price instead of supply only. Dont mix tyres on one axle. Id fit four and use the one remaining good tyre you have as the spare.

Yep I see that now. When I posted there was only a very brief no details snippet on the BBC.

Saw that. Not related to the Evans case particularly - but we should never have abandoned the principle of double jeopardy. It cant be right you can send someone for a new trial after they've been cleared by the appeal court.

Real shame. Not really my kind of humour but a really likeable figure. I saw a tv crew filming on Hungerford pedestrian bridge a couple of years ago and peered at the presenter to see if it was anyone I recognised. She saw me looking and gave me a big smile and a little wave. RIP

I think everyone recognises that a close vote either way will give us much more leverage and the chance to precipitate real change. It would deal us a great card hand. Unfortunately we'd have Dave playing that hand. Im pretty sure he'd lose against a pair of fives.

They have the worst of both worlds now - not fan owned but with the trust acting as block to further investment because they don't want their shareholding diluted. If they aren't careful they're going to be locked into some intractable Mexican standoff.

Dont mind, whichever leads to the biggest cat fight and a threeway split between the 'Presidents', the Trust and the fans
