Sorry FF, thats rubbish. The club has been been owned by the shareholders in all recent history. Whether those shares are publicly traded or held privately makes no difference. The fans will have exactly the same influence we have always had, no more no less.

Aviva will get a share of the £12.5m and the rest written off.

I believe Wotte deserves his chance, but even if he didn't it I'm sure Markus isn't foolish enough to rush a new appointment without proper information and advice. If I had just taken over a club in Switzerland I wouldnt change the manager until I had a full bank of knowledge and a professional team guiding me. Wotte will stay as manager in the interim - and in the meantime has the chance, based on performance, to make the 'keep or change' decision an easy one.

I can't think of a better result for the club. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I don't get the impression he is as mega wealthy as his siblings - but who knows. Frankly I'd settle for a kindly owner, professional, who wants to develop the club on a sustainable basis with modest additional resources. As someone else posted a while back - now the debts are wiped out we should be able to generate most of the cash needed through the turnstile.

Announcement by Fry early tomorrow followed some time later by a press conference with new owners announcing plans IMO.
