@tancredipalmeri: Coutinho price fixed at 13m €,Inter trying to get it from Southampton as Liverpool never raised their 8m € bid.But player prefers Liverpool Stalemate...
-
@tancredipalmeri: Coutinho officially on sale, according to tomorrow Gazzetta edition. Inter wanted to sell Alvarez, but no bid made them turn to Coutinho

Kanu would be funnier

Ah, cheers - So another €1m and he's ours in that case

Just tried the free iPhone version. It's very fast and accurate but when I login to Saints Player it won't let me play the videos. It shows that I'm logged in and you can see the list of videos but when I select one to watch it takes me to the "sign up" page (whilst still showing me as logged in at the top of the screen.) Shame as its the best cloud based browser I've used in terms of speed and responsiveness.

But, according to the Mail (yes, I know) haven 't we already offered them the €13m being reported as the 'new' asking price tonight? i.e. the £10.2m in sterling figure?

@RedReynolds1: Message for #Saintsfc. F*** off and Stop trying to De-rail our transfer plans by unrealistically bidding for Our Targets
-
@joemichalczuk: So #Pompey fans - do you think a club as passionate, historic and primal as ours needs to arrange 'let's make up song nights' ? @joemichalczuk: Isn't that for grounds that lack a fanbase and heritage? Never thought I'd see 'atmosphere night' at Fratton...

Do we need a Campaign for red and white stripes and black shorts
trousers replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Saints
Yay.... I guessed right again. 5 points -
The great thing about reading this forum using the Tapatalk 'latest threads' view is that you get to guess who started a thread by the title alone.... #goodgame (although too easy sometimes)
-
But they never lost Forren and Ramirez because it turns out they "never wanted either of them in the first place" #yeah #right
-
Aye, likewise

You'd have thought so. The BBC tend to tweet these 'news flashes' about 20 hours after the rest of the world have read about it

@TonyHusbandBBC: #saintsfc Coutinho is a player Southampton have chased for a while, but there's no official confirmation that a bid has been accepted.

It reminds me of a husband and wife having a massive argument and the wife (role played by Cortese) giving the husband (role played by MLT) the silent treatment for a period of time. Someone has to back down first for the relationship to survive and, dare I say it....(1970s sexist alert)....it's usually the person dishing out the silence (aka The Wife) that backs down last.... So, extending this 'George and Mildred' analogy to its logical conclusion would suggest its MLT that is perhaps best placed to rise above the pettiness and make the first move.... Nicola Cortese................................. Matt Le Tissier

Nabil Hassan @NabilHassan79 Former #saintsfc boss Nigel Adkins is clear favourite with bookmakers SkyBet to become next manager of Huddersfield

Guly seems to be enjoying himself in Barcelona....never seen him "lol" before....maybe a player who could start to thrive under Pochettino, more so than under Adkins? https://www.facebook.com/officialsaints

Kids that go to games get to hear the same language, both from the crowd and the players, so goes with the territory really... These posters look like the product of one of those team-bonding / character-building sessions that I've sometimes been to - usually run by over enthusiastic Americans - whereby the players had to come up with the first phrase that entered their head about playing for Saints and, in turn, Cortese got to reply to each. All harmless psycho-babble at the end of the day.
-
I'm pretty agnostic and/or ambivalent when it comes to the Cortese / Le Tissier situation but, as an observer of people with more fervent views than mine, I think what grates the MLT critics most is the frequency at which he repeats the same accusations. I don't see (m)any people saying that MLT (and anyone else come to that) shouldn't criticise Cortese at all, rather that there's a balance to be struck between "banging on about it all the time" and remaining silent. Perhaps the accusation is that MLT is too close to the former end of the scale and Cortese is firmly rooted at the latter. As I say, I'm not offering an opinion here, just an observation of the 'debate'.

Jordan Cross @pn_jordan_cross One of the most surreal #Pompey pressers ever with the removal vans in and everyone clubbing together to carry the sofas out of Eastleigh!
