I think Turkish clarified that the benefit in question actually stopped as a result of moving into the care home (i.e. it was a benefit given to people with this condition who still live in their own home). It's that anomaly that seems to have triggered a loophole in the conditions. Totally agree that the club should have dealt with this properly and decently at source rather than fobbing someone off out of hand.
