Got called up about 15 years ago. Winchester crown court. Sat on 2 GBH cases for about 4 days in total. Lots of sitting around in-between cases and even getting sent home when not called onto a case on one or two days. Was an interesting experience from the perspective of finding out how it all worked but it wasn't edge of seat stuff...far from it...all very mundane.

Used to be the case but the law was changed a few years back (I believe)

Putting aside the justice system and media hype to one side for a second, what's your hunch, your gut feel, about the blokes charged with his murder? Most likely to have done it or not? Genuinely interested in what your instinct tells you. Cheers

What I don't get is why no journo has picked up and run with this for best part of two years. It would seem an ideal candidate for a tabloid expose. Unless there's a good reason why a journo hasn't been brave enough to delve deeper....can't think why that would be....obviously....
