Agree that Martin should only take partial blame for the recruitment side of things but the one significant thing that you missed out, for which Martin shoulders full blame for, is sticking with a playing philosophy that was never going to work (in the Premier League) with such a mediocre squad. Not getting good enough players through the door is one thing, but then expecting them to play in a way that they weren't capable of (in the Premier League), and persisting with it regardless, was an even bigger faux pas, in my humble opinion. And before the "but we would've got relegated regardless of what playing style we deployed" brigade get triggered, yes, I agree, but the difference is that we could've gone down fighting and less embarrassingly, if we'd played more like Luton than Man City, which would've been much easier to stomach than the shit show Martin presided over.

My money is on you not referring back to this post in 10 months time if we go straight back up, but wheeling it out every 5 minutes for 7 weeks if we don't... I'll keep a medal aside for you though, just in case...
