I remember posing this very question on here a couple of years back, and I think the answer was 'Michael Poke' (who made the grand total of 4 first team appearances, all in the 2007/08 championship season). As a club with a renowned academy (historically, at least) it's perhaps a tad baffling that we've practically never bred a keeper good enough for the first team. Wonder why?

I'm in two minds (just for a change....!) As we don't have a midweek match next week, there's an argument for giving our first choice starting 11 another opportunity to gel even further, and keep the momentum building. But there's also a case for giving those players a week off to relax and rejuventate. Swings and roundabouts.

Yep, agree. If Archer is seriously our only senior striker fit enough to start at the moment, then start he must. Can only hope that not being dropped will be a confidence booster for him... #benefitofthedoubt
