    U18s

Cheers for the heads-up. Out of curiosity, does anyone know off the top of their head how many of our regular B-Team squad would also qualify to play in the U18s, age wise? Cheers
  2. People that use huge corner-cutting insurance companies because it might save them a few bob in the short-term and then moan about the poor customer service thereafter.... #falseeconomy

  11. Who's our right-back in the Saints B-team? If I remember correctly, wasn't part of the philosophy behind renaming the "U23s" to the "B-Team" a while back to provide continuity between the B-Team and First Team? In other words, the players in the B-Team should be able to slip seamlessly into the First Team if/when required. Or maybe I've completely mis-remembered the thinking behind the 're-branding' of the U23s....? (p.s. before I get jumped upon by the Saintsweb intelligentsia, I'm not for one moment suggesting here that whoever our B-Team right back is is currently of a level to play in the first team, they're probably not, I just thought that was the stated aim of the B-Team when they renamed it from the U23s.)

  17. Ah, fairy nuff. I'll stop pondering on trivial stuff now
  18. Ah, cheers Ron... assume there's a logical explanation somewhere
  19. p.s. Leeds don't appear to have launched a 3rd kit yet this year (as far as I can tell by looking at their website), so wonder what would have happened if the officials had decided the light yellow and white kits were too much of a clash...?
  20. Yeah, it seems somewhat inconsistent if the officials deemed the keeper's kit to clash with Leeds' outfield kit but were perfectly happy with light yellow vs white outfiled kits. Hey ho, probably best if I don't try and understand the logic of these things I guess!
  21. Curiosity question.... Does anyone know why Bazuna didn't wear the designated home goalkeeper kit vs Leeds? i.e. this one: Instead, he wore the kit below which, according to the replica kit available on the club's online store, doesn't even exist.... I suppose it could be because Leeds were wearing yellow but the small amount of (much darker) yellow in the home keeper's kit doesn't clash with the Leeds kit, does it....? Not the most important issue troubling the planet at the moment, granted, but just my curiosity....
  22. Indeed, but what on Earth was going on with the second pair not being on the corner but up by the half-way line? Meant the first pair had to run half a mile and the second pair about 5 yards before the 3rd pair took over. And I thought it was just our defence that was disorganised....
