  2. How on Earth is RLC on £175k/week...? The world is more bonkers than I'd imagined....
  3. If they've got the resources and/or the will to spend, why aren't they doing that already in Division 3...?
  4. Arthur

  7. 4-0 (Jorginho again) Double Yay
  8. Why wouldn't we want a player that's good enough to start for the top of the table club...? #devilsadvocate
  9. 3-0 (Jorginho, 77 mins) He's in my FF team... Yay!
  10. Do the buffoons that come up with these rules do so in the knowledge that they favour the richer clubs, or are they blissfully ignorant as to the consequences of their ineptitude?
  11. Chelsea 2 Palace 0 (Zouma, 66 mins) Bugger, left Zouma out of my FF team this week

  16. You forgot to add some 'MLG notes' to your post. He'll be all over this like a rash before too long...
  17. Any idea what the primary reason(s) is/are for doing so? (assumption would be it's just a run-of-the-mill commercial decision but it could be connected to something more 'juicy' going on behind the scenes I guess...) Cheers
  18. Maybe, but that would only highlight how seemingly naive we were in not being wise to the work permit threshold in the first place...?
  19. But, IF we thought Sangare was better than Diallo (given he was seemingly our preferred first choice out of the two) then surely we wouldn't begrudge paying for Sangare what we're reportedly paying for Diallo (i.e. over £10m)...? Or.... as Lighthouse alludes to, maybe we preferred Diallo over Sangare all along and have used the work permit issue as a smokescreen to keep Diallo's fee as low as possible... Or... I'm over-thinking things just for a change...
  20. I'm Vinicius
  21. A possibility I guess. Also, it looks like we're going to be paying more than £10m for Diallo, who seemingly is our back up option to Sangare. Which makes Ralph's comment about not being in a position to pay over £10m for Sangare a tad puzzling, given that's exactly what we're doing for Diallo. Either Sangare was our first choice (over Diallo) or he wasn't...? Or maybe we were looking to buy both....?
