  1. Interesting (perhaps) to note that the club have seemingly decided on a zero coverage approach to this week's Spanish training camp. Our social media team are usually all over these visits like a rash, with wall to wall coverage, but next to nothing for this one.
  2. Seat 363 in block 552 is closer to the Saints end than seats 383 and 384. Detailed seat diagram here: http://www.mapaplan.com/seating-plan/wembley-stadium-chart-london/high-resolution/wembley-stadium-london-seating-plan-00a-Detailed-row-block-numbers-exact-concert-chart-high-resolution.htm I'm pretty sure block 501 is for Saints fans too. The screenshot I took of the extra tickets being sold yesterday shows that we we were selling the upper block just to the right of the tunnel (as you look at it from the pitch) and that looks like block 501 to me: Either way, it looks pretty certain the seat you are being offered (363) is further away from the Man Utd fans than the seats you already have (383 and 384)

  4. Negativity? On the SaintsWeb Forum? In other news: Pope is Catholic
  5. As I've said before, I/we want Pompey to get promoted so we can start to see their tinpot 'fan ownership' (sic) operating model start to unravel when the financial demands of playing in a higher league start to kick in. They won't be able to resist overspending, upon which we go back to square one on the nutjobbery snakes and ladders board. Where's the fun in them bobbing around in Division 4 for the rest of eternity...?
  6. Source?
  7. The additional seats are in decent positions...

  9. That's how I read it too. I think the ones being sold at midday are exclusively for the away matches criteria. It is open to interpretation though. Edit: scratch that.... the club tweeted this earlier: Southampton FC ‏@SouthamptonFC The tickets at midday will still be available to those who qualify now. #saintsfc
  10. It's automatic
  11. Ah, ok. I've been thinking that he might have been able to get around the work permit rules in the short term by coming over here on a tourist visa and 'coincidentally' pitching up at Staplewood to do some fitness work 'on his own'. i.e. not employed by the club at that point, but just some random geezer who happens to like keeping fit whilst 'on holiday'. I guess the powers that be have got that potential loophole covered though
  12. I could be missing something blindingly obvious here, but why would a Uruguayan citizen wishing to work in the United Kingdom be sorting out a work visa in France? Unless it's quicker/easier to do it in France and he then gets into the UK because of our (current) relationship with the EU?
  13. Indeed. Where did you hear that Sour Mash? Can't see any announcement to that effect online anywhere.
  14. I'm not driving up this time, but I've parked at Hillingdon Tube Station before when going to events at Wembley. 20 minutes on the tube to the stadium from there.
  15. Surely that's the case? (edit: although it is possible to have a 'customer number' on the database but not be a member. Did he explicitly tell them he was a member when booking tickets over the phone?)
  16. Yours is probably more accurate. My eyesight isn't what it used to be...
  17. Just done a rough count... looks like there's c.700-800 left
  18. We haven't been in a "relegation battle" for 8 years
  19. Anyone else thinking of heading towards the Borough Market area for a few lunchtime beers? Yes, I know it's a bit out of the way, and not enroute from Waterloo to Wembley, but I like the pubs over that way, e.g. the Market Porter / Wheatsheaf
