Will be Austin (still our highest scorer) if he manages to bag the few goals that end up saving our skins. Failing that.... "none of the above"....

Cheers Shroppie. Can always rely on regulars such as yourself for accurate updates Meanwhile, back at the beer...
-
I take it that means Glasgow has started posting again in volume?
-
I've been in Bournemouth all day.... Now at the annual beer festival at the BIC. Just checking in for the first time. Any news on our game today? Cheers

Other than making it easier for the organisers, what was the point of having a short list?

What normally works for me is you access the ticket site about 25 minutes before 9am and leave it sitting there on the temporary holding page. You then automatically get switched over to the queuing system when they flick over to sales at 9am and towards the front of the queue. I did that this morning as per usual and only had to wait a few seconds in the queue at 9am, but then the site froze on me when trying to add the tickets to the basket. This 'technique' works most times though

It suddenly leaped back into life... purchase complete... let's do this!
-
Was straight in at 9... Tried to add tickets to basket then site ground to a halt... Now back in a 26 minute queue.... Sigh

Good question. As a fan base we're currently trying to work this out, as opposed to sticking our collective fingers in our ears and shouting "la la la la la" in the style of the fans of the previous football club that played at Fratton Park prior to 2012. Meanwhile, we're attempting to win the FA Cup on merit rather than cheating our way to victory. Thanks for asking though.

St Mary's Football Group – 2016/17 financial results

Does anyone know how many other PL clubs have the same or similar arrangements in place? That would help deduce how normal, or otherwise, our situation is. -
I don't recall seeing any official explanation from the club. I'm pretty sure we started selling a bigger allocation than we ended up with though (?). The only other explanation I can think of is that the club mistakenly started selling a block that, it turns out, wasn't allocated to us and upon realising (coincidentally at the same time the fixture date was changed) they swapped things over. Actually, that sounds far less plausible than the baffling 'sent back a whole block of tickets because the date changed' scenario. Surprised no-one's quizzed them about this in twitter land yet (or perhaps they have and received no answer?)

Maybe those "many in Cedric's home country" should ponder on why "Southampton find themselves in a relegation battle" if they've supposedly got Champions League quality players in their ranks....
-
How many accounts are there and where have you heard them? Cheers
-
Especially when they're not affording the same fairness to Man Utd, who have one less preparation day before the semi final than Spurs. I'm sure Mourinho will be happy with that...
-
Sky have got the rights to 3 premier league 'midweek' games that week (no idea why, assume because there are no European games scheduled?). They've got Spurs' game on the Tuesday and Man Utd's game on the Wednesday (neither of those could be the Thursday game due to their semi final on the Saturday) which just left Thursday for Chelsea's game. And the PL have decided ours should be on the same day as Chelsea's (which ignores the fact that Spurs get an extra days rest before the semi final compared to Man utd, so why couldn't we...?)
-
Burnley fans aren't best pleased either. Not only are they having to play on a Thursday evening, but their planned game vs Stoke has had to be moved from the following Saturday to the Sunday as a result, and after tickets for that game went on sale.
-
The categories are different, but the cost of a ticket behind the goal is actually cheaper for this semi-final compared to the EFL final.... £65 and £72 respectively (although concessions were cheaper for the EFL final)
-
Indeed. That's the point I was highlighting.

Looks like good news on the passport front... https://order-order.com/2018/03/22/victory-global-britain-franco-dutch-blue-passports-deal-saves-taxpayers-50-million/

The club have already stated it wasn't something imposed upon them by the PL, as per the wording on their announcement: https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018-03-16/arsenal-southampton-fixture-moved-to-sunday-premier-league "Southampton's televised away trip to face Arsenal has been moved after the two clubs and the Premier League reached an agreement."
-
Yep, they added it later...

The seating plan for the EFL final is here: https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?p=2610653 Should be a similar break down this time around I'd imagine
-
These were the seating categories for the EFL Cup final last year. One assumes it'll be a similar breakdown for the FA Cup Semi
