I've fluctuated between both 'stick' and 'twist' over the last few months. I'm currently in a 'stick' frame of mind, as I think there are signs that we *may* have turned the corner in recent games. Of course, that may all change if we fail to pick up at least 4 points in the next two games....
The very same game where a point each contributed to us being promoted and the now extinct Football Club that used to play at Fratton Park being relegated.
Happy days indeed
Can't the club take out a 36 month 0% credit card, pay Spartak up-front and pay the balance back to the CC company over 3 years. Well, that's what I did for my new boiler a couple of years ago....
Hasn't it been suggested he has a release clause in his contract? So, if we satisfy the release clause then it doesn't matter how keen they are to keep him, does it?
(Edit: Trousers....read previous posts before asking the same question that several others have already asked, you clot!)
Fair points. Yep, going back 5 was the right decision IMO but agree that there is a debate as to who should have come off. Agree that Davis was a better candidate for removal than Boufal. (Although, I think some people are suggesting that going with a back 5 was the wrong decision regardless of who was taken off)
I'd also have bought on Lemina instead of Carrillo, given Carrillo effectively played in Lemina's natural position anyway. I suspect Carrillo got some game time simply to welcome our new signing rather than it being the most logical substitution (IMO)
