Unless I've missed it, I can't see anything in the reports of yesterday's opening discussions where there was an agreement to conclude divorce settlement discussions before future trade arrangement discussions begin. Davis & co conceded a while ago that the divorce discussions would start first but as far as I can tell they're still maintaining their stance that there will/should be an overlap of discussions in due course. Davis: "Nothing is agreed until everything is agreed". Whether the EU agrees with that stance is still up for grabs as far as I can tell, but it seems like a logical approach to me. The more I read about him the more I think it would be worth taking a punt on Viera. Interesting that he's crept up to second favourite with little or no speculation about him taking the Saints job in the media. Suggests someone somewhere knows something perhaps...

It would be very easy for a genuine ITK to prove they are ITK, even if they've been told not to go public before the event occurs .... simply, before a specific event that they're aware of is about to happen, write the details in a document and password protect it.... then post it online... wait for said event to unfold..... then post the password to unlock the document.... voila.... instant ITK hall of fame status. There again, maybe I'm thinking too hard about all this ITK malarkey (just for a change)!

Have had a quick skim read through and, no, there is nothing new in there. Just the usual well crafted extrapolations and reading-between-the-lines of what we already knew or could easily deduce.
