It would be very easy for a genuine ITK to prove they are ITK, even if they've been told not to go public before the event occurs .... simply, before a specific event that they're aware of is about to happen, write the details in a document and password protect it.... then post it online... wait for said event to unfold..... then post the password to unlock the document.... voila.... instant ITK hall of fame status. There again, maybe I'm thinking too hard about all this ITK malarkey (just for a change)!

Have had a quick skim read through and, no, there is nothing new in there. Just the usual well crafted extrapolations and reading-between-the-lines of what we already knew or could easily deduce.

Bugger. Unless its a smokescreen of course... What would be the reasons for Klinsmann not matching our criteria I wonder?

The more I think about it, the more Klinsmann fits the bill IMO. Doesn't he tick most boxes....? - a German manager other than Tuchel (as hinted in the Wilson article)? tick - available? tick - high profile? tick - could persuade the likes of VvD and Bertrand to stay? tick - more charismatic than Puel? tick - european tournament experience? tick - international experience? tick - attacking style? tick - good at bringing through younger players? not sure, but don't see why not

What's Klinsman up to these days? Whilst he wouldn't be my first choice for the job he probably ticks a lot of boxes in the boardroom...

That's the key line in the Wilson 'club fed' article IMO. If Tuchel was a dead cert shoe in then that "other German managers" line surely wouldn't have appeared in the article. I think it's a more significant reference (aka subtle hint) than it appears on the surface. IMHO of course

I became good friends with Saint David and Saintlee outside of the confines of this forum. Two decent chaps who got innocently caught up in the whirlwind of the takeover days IMO. I know their intentions were always sincere, no matter how people might want to judge those who played a part in the soap opera. One thing's for sure, they were certainly interesting times!
