  1. Sir, can you kindly keep logic out of this please. There is no place for such things on the SaintsWeb Forum, especially when we're in full meltdown mode.
  2. What safeguards would that have achieved? How would it have stopped Everton making an approach?
  3. My Spurs supporting colleagues summary of the England game last night: "That was just like watching an AVB team again. Lots of sideways and backwards passing but with little penetration" #usualpinchofsalt
  4. Nice Biro. Any chance of someone putting that picture in the background up on the wall at some point? #tinpot
  5. The Christmas decorations were a bit of a giveaway to be fair...
  6. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/matt-taylor-speaks-out-on-pompey-return-1-7413019 Really? Playing in the Championship is more desirable than a triumphal return to the Mecca of Division 4 football? Get away...
  7. Maybe (just maybe), if the supposed 'tensions' between Koeman and the board, that the likes of Guan and K.Billy have alluded to, are genuine, then Les & co might see this as a window of opportunity to help engineer the replacement of Koeman with someone who is more aligned to their longer term planning and philosophy. All guesswork I know, but I think that hypothesis is a valid deduction from reading between the various lines on here.
  8. Hello LG sir.... is there any reason why you can't elaborate on any of these ITK 'teasers' now? Appreciate the insights but its difficult to reflect on what you're saying if there's little or no context to go on. Cheers
  9. Like I say, take any opinions from football fans with pinch of salt (on either side of any debate)
  10. If our future success is reliant on Koeman staying then, yes. If our future success is not reliant on Koeman staying then, no.
  11. I share an office with two Spurs fans. They haven't got a good word to say about AVB. Although, to be fair, they were constantly slagging off Pochettino during his first season there too, so possibly wise to take their comments about AVB with the usual pinch of fickle football fandom salt
