  1. Great read. Cheers for posting
  2. As a result of peer pressure from the forum intelligentsia (and my son) we are now bypassing the South Bank and heading straight up to the Wembley area for c.12pm. I'm not normally one to mix with the riff-raff but will make an exception on this occasion.
  3. I'm drinking in "South East London" just to see how many "Why the **** are you drinking so far away?" posts it attracts. Doing quite well so far but could do with a few more to make it worth my while...

  5. I'll probably walk along the South Bank from Waterloo. Stop somewhere for lunch (The Doggetts on south side of Blackfriars Bridge probably) then carry on down to London Bridge stopping off at the Market Porter to imbibe in a selection of their fine real ales. Then hop on the Jubilee Line from London Bridge.
  6. Weather forecast looking good for Sunday. Dry, sunny spells and temps in the mid-teens. Nice.

  8. Ah, seems like a reasonable explanation. So, Man Utd just got a bit lucky rather than crossing UEFA's palm with silver. At ease...
  9. I haven't been "hysterical" since 1989. Who's being hysterical? Hound them out and give them 100 lashings I say.
  10. If you ignore the butterfly effect and chaos theory, yes...
  11. Didn't realise that. What a farce.
  12. Interesting (perhaps) to note that the club have seemingly decided on a zero coverage approach to this week's Spanish training camp. Our social media team are usually all over these visits like a rash, with wall to wall coverage, but next to nothing for this one.
  13. Seat 363 in block 552 is closer to the Saints end than seats 383 and 384. Detailed seat diagram here: http://www.mapaplan.com/seating-plan/wembley-stadium-chart-london/high-resolution/wembley-stadium-london-seating-plan-00a-Detailed-row-block-numbers-exact-concert-chart-high-resolution.htm I'm pretty sure block 501 is for Saints fans too. The screenshot I took of the extra tickets being sold yesterday shows that we we were selling the upper block just to the right of the tunnel (as you look at it from the pitch) and that looks like block 501 to me: Either way, it looks pretty certain the seat you are being offered (363) is further away from the Man Utd fans than the seats you already have (383 and 384)

  15. Negativity? On the SaintsWeb Forum? In other news: Pope is Catholic
  16. As I've said before, I/we want Pompey to get promoted so we can start to see their tinpot 'fan ownership' (sic) operating model start to unravel when the financial demands of playing in a higher league start to kick in. They won't be able to resist overspending, upon which we go back to square one on the nutjobbery snakes and ladders board. Where's the fun in them bobbing around in Division 4 for the rest of eternity...?
  17. Source?
  18. The additional seats are in decent positions...
