Koeman (when asked how close we are to bringing in new players in this window): "No, we're no closer to bringing anyone in. If we do it will be just one player, no more"
I tend to agree with the gist of this article: http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2016/01/the-tories-have-messed-up-with-junior-doctors-heres-what-they-should-have-done/
(ok, yes I know its one of those purposely provocative Spectator articles, however....)
It's the same old Tories....come up with a half decent idea (a seamless 24/7 NHS) only to completely screw up the implementation...
But it'll bring in more revenue which will inevitably help them to settle the 3 charges that the PFA still have on Fratton Park...
(No, I've no idea either why the PFA still has 3 charges against a club that is "debt free"...)
I think some people are suggesting that Pochettino was good at turning "U21 players that aren't premier league quality" into U21 players that *are* premier league quality, the inference being that Koeman doesn't seem able and/or willing to divert effort into such conversions.
I'm undecided, but there is some circumstantial evidence to suggest that Koeman expects the U21 players to be of "premier league quality" without his, and his coaching team's, intervention in the transformation process.
Looks like the BBC are going to great lengths to even up the anti-party leader bias...

At the game. Another below par performance from us. No intensity to our game at all. Clasie and Targett particularly poor. On the bright side, we can't get any worse than that in the second half....
