HMRC have already had many weeks to do that. CVA was issued over 6 weeks ago on 28th May and initial details of creditors even before that.

New Friendly Announced on 24th July

Who? -
Thread title is very misleading. That article doesn't say Saints have offered him a contract.
-
Are you implying it is wrong to stare at the groinal region of middle aged, balding, "larger" men? I'm not saying I do btw I guess you'd be stoned in Dubai for doing so.

He wasn't actually naked, he is wearing shorts.

The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread
Matthew Le God replied to supersonic's topic in The Saints
No chance. Why would Man City loan Saints a player on the fringe of their 1st team(and has had Premiership experience and played in the Carling Cup semi final) to join the Saints and be on the fringe of their League One squad in the under 21 development squad? "If" Boyota comes to Saints it will be to partner Fonte. -

You complain of people putting a positive or neutral view of Cortese, yet everything you post is negative no matter what. What is wrong with the development squad having another game? Why have you put a negative slant on this story? -
I hope he never becomes captain and writes articles in the matchday program.

The club made it and showed it before the Southend game iirc on the big screens.

The current CVA is based on staying in the Championship or getting back to the Premier League. It is screwed if they get relegated again and even if the appeal is dismissed, HMRC will be able to make another winding up order for breach of CVA... Would they get 14k in League One, if they struggle I'm not sure they will get near this figure in the Championship let alone League One with currently 8.5k season ticket holders? And if they don't? Again, these are based on being a Championship club.

£300k for a 34 year old is just silly.

Apart from it only being an early pre season friendly for match fitness you only need to look at the teams in each half. 1st half - Saints Lost 3-0 and only had 4 likely starters in a Saints XI come August 7th - Davis, Harding or Dickson, Puncheon, Fonte 2nd half - Saints Won 2-1 and had 7 likely starters in a Saints XI come August 7th - Harding or Dickson, Puncheon, Hammond, Schneiderlin, Lambert, Fonte, Connolly

Good decision, but will be interesting to see how strictly they enforce the ban.
-
He is pulling your leg. Why aren't you questioning where the other players who have gone to Switzerland but didn't play tonight? Why only Lallana? You will struggle to find a player in the world that plays in every minute of every pre season game.
-
Yes, next team they are playing are a top flight French side. Friendlies are for match fitness. Saints haven't had their best 11 on the pitch for 90 minutes each half has had a mix of younger players and regulars from the large squad they have taken with them.
-
No they don't. They played in it once, 5 years ago.
-
That would mean relegation to League Two.
-
Does anyone actually have any evidence of this?
-
Well considering there were about 13,000 last season to suggest they won't be 8,000 is daft when this year the club are favourites to win the League and were bottom of the League with -10 points last season. That will attract more people than those lost by the lack of installments.

Under 21s (?) coach appointed - and Henderson leaves

So do I. -
Under 21s (?) coach appointed - and Henderson leaves
Matthew Le God replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
The reserves played in a league. The club have pulled out of the league. The under 21's will not be playing the same games as the old reserves would have done, they will play friendlies home and abroad. -

Sounds an interesting structure. Something like this always looked on the cards once the reserves pulled out the league. It is not for an under 21 League Saint Clark. -
