How have you come to that conclusion?
-
Wouldn't it be worse if he fails to perform and loses value? 🤔
-
Walker-Peters was eased into becoming a regular in Hasenhuttl's system. My post was responding to the suggestion another centre back should be signed. How does that help Salisu get games? He is already fit enough to be on the bench and will probably play on Saturday.
-
We don't need a centre back. Salisu is a 21 year old adapting to new country. He has been on the bench for the last three games. Stephens used as he already has understanding with Bednarek and Salisu will likely play next Saturday.

Have we been unlucky with ref/VAR decisions in the previous 4 games.

Arms don't count as offside, shoulders do. You can't score with your arm. -

What clarification do you what exactly? -
They are paid a decent wage, spending a few hours learning, revising the rules and passing a test isn't particularly OTT. Sunday league refs can do it.
-
All commentators and pundits should be made to study for and pass a referee theory test in order to be allowed on air. It is their job to discuss incidents involving the rules of the sport... so they should prove they know the rules they are paid to discuss! 😎

It now gives you the opportunity to celebrate a legitimate goal twice... once at the time and the second when the review allows it. Double the celebrations! 😉 -
🙄 All I did was ask him for a link for where the £100m story was from. That is not even remotely unreasonable! Play the post not the poster!
-
Not insecurity, I just wanted to read the article and asked for a direct link to it as I can't find it.
-
All he did is ask questions none of us know the answer to. No earlobes or petting zoos involved.
-
Newsnow is not a 'source', it is a news aggregator website and links to many different websites independent from it. Can you link to the article you are talking about, as I can't see any mention of £100m here...? https://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Premier+League/Burnley

That foul continued into the box, which makes it a penalty. -
Where have you got that from?
-
You didn't for good reason... TV companies only had one camera at a game in the 1960s!
-
Yes. All of them apart from Ron Atkinson and he started managing in 1971 so was close.
-
Are they? Any links? If you mean Glenn Hoddle saying Spurs or Everton should buy him, that is not evidence they want him. It is a suggestion by Hoddle not a rumour.
-
Yes, Barcelona in 2020 use tactics. A huge amount of work goes into preparing for each game, far more than the Saints team of 60 years ago you mentioned. Brazil 50 years ago also used tactics, but significantly less detailed.
-
It has nothing to do with the manager becoming more the focus of the media. Tactics have become significantly more detailed in the last 60 years. They can't be left for the players to implement on the pitch as a collective without outside input.
-
Lots of reasons. Firstly they are not a collective mind, 11 players making independent tactical decisions is a recipe for disaster.
-
Their "too much quality up front" was not good enough to beat Brighton, Fulham, WBA and Newcastle in recent games.
-
Hopefully we do catch them on a 7-2 day
