That is Euros, not pounds.

I think it is unlikely he is only on £21k per week. That is a tiny wage for a first team member in the Premier League.

The video shows him doing well what a player in his position should do. Win the ball back, make interceptions and pass it on. It isn't his role to do mazy dribbles down the wing or score goals.

@LeG mentioned Bertrand is a nightmare when we've had shit managers but fine with good managers, well Lemina might be the same and we now have a good manager for him to play under for the first time at Saints. I doubt we will turn things round with him, but I think there are big upsides if they did manage to pull it off. Probably will head out on loan again.

Which is why I added the caveat about Hasenhuttl turning him around and getting him motivated. Probably very unlikely I know. But when on form he is a very good player and an ideal partner for Ward-Prowse when Hojbjerg leaves and wouldn't cost a penny out of the transfer budget as he is already here.

Huge if but if Hasenhuttl could find a way for him to come into the fold again he could be very useful if motivated! Dare I say... it would be 'like a new signing'... 😜

That is not what I've done. Withholding believe until evidence is provided is not the same as denying there is evidence.

Sitting on the fence is the sensible thing to do if not provided with evidence either way. I'm not saying he didn't leave on bad terms. But we can't really have a view on it until we know what happened. Questioning rumour is preferable to blindly believing it!

Would you prefer some more people to make some things up? Or say 'I know what happened but won't say on here, but it was bad!'?

It gives no clue as to what happened other than the club potentially viewed something negatively. We don't know what and people jump to conclusions from it.

I don't know. Which is why I asked for something to substantiate the rumours of poor behaviour. At the moment all I've seen is people jumping to conclusions seemingly based on 6 year old rumours.
