Lots of families are fine on an income of under £100k in London. A family of two new teachers would be on a combined £60k. Plus they don't even need to live in London. A lot of London team training grounds are on the fringes of London. That is their main workplace, not a stadium they visit 25 times a year. They can live within commuting distance of the training grounds.
