  1. Tommy Forecast didn't have a prime. He just... existed A photo to send shivers down your spine...
  2. It does not say that. It says '£14m plus add-ons'. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53436848
  3. Yoshida and Forster aren't currently on loan. One has left the club and the other is at Saints. Why have you decided Reed, Jones, O'Connor and Slattery are 'awful'? Lemina would be a very useful player in the unlikely event of Hasenhuttl getting him onboard.
  4. Who? Zeefuik? Would be extremely difficult to get an English player at Walker-Peters level for as little as £5m.
  5. I doubt it, the club would announce him signing as a coach. He doesn't have a history of coaching since his retirement 19 years ago, he moved into business and is a registered agent. They've got him as on loan from Liverpool and Liverpool wasn't even his last club before retiring. He a backup keeper to Paul Jones at Saints in the 1998/99 season.
  6. As much as it would be hilarious for West Ham to go down... I would rather Saints had as much prize money as possible to improve themselves in the summer. Circa £2m per place means a big difference between 11th and 14th. Could get a 'new Stuart Armstrong' for that!
  7. Playing Devil's advocate! Bournemouth vs Saints is a derby game - A derby game by definition is a game between two local teams - Bournemouth & Southampton are two local teams (due to the lack of other large settlements in the region) - It is not the main derby for Saints, that is obviously vs Portsmouth as we all know - It is a bigger deal for Bournemouth than Saints, but a lesser derby is still a derby
  8. The Premier League website thinks we signed a 45 year old goalkeeper - on loan from Liverpool (who he left in 1996) https://www.premierleague.com/players/913/Michael-Stensgaard/overview He was at Saints in 1998/99 as the backup for Paul Jones.
  9. Nathan Tella is injured. Will Ferry is likely to again be the academy attacking midfielder option for this game.
  10. 2015/16 - Davis 5 league goals 2019/20 - Armstrong 5 league goals
  11. Don't forget the coronavirus * in the league table footnotes
  12. A Wolves win means Saints can go within 2 points of Burnley tomorrow. Potential top half finish still on.
  13. It is better than most PL teams.
  14. I know they have De Bruyne, Mahrez, Laporte and Sterling etc on the bench, but there are not many 'weaknesses' in their starting XI tonight... 31 Ederson 2 Walker 5 Stones 30 Otamendi 22 Mendy 25 Fernandinho 8 Gündogan 20 Bernardo Silva 21 Silva 47 Foden 9 Gabriel Jesus
  15. Their relegation by Saints would also require Watford to draw with West Ham
  16. He hasn't gone to Celtic because he used Saints as a stepping stone. He simply wasn't good enough for us. Redmond, Armstrong, Boufal and Djenepo all far better options for the two 'number 10' roles in the 4222 system.
  17. I expanded on your good work!
  18. They might do, but that article does not say Saints want to sign two. It says they are interested in two. It could be one is a backup if the other isn't signed.
  19. That is not a post by Fulham. It is a post by a random Fulham fan called Charlie Keeble making a 'joke'.
  20. Reed vs West Brom this week...
  21. That articles cites a Sky Sports article as its source and that article doesn't really say want HITC claim it does.
  22. I'd guess they tried to get one but couldn't agree it with Spurs.
