Lots of people overlook that for most of this season Obafemi was 19 years old. It was only the lockdown which meant he played beyond being a teenager. When Adams was Obafemi's current age he was playing in League One having recently moved from non League football. I'm not saying Obafemi is currently better than Adams, but Obafemi gets a lot of stick for someone who could still play for the under 23 team for the next few years. He has already shown as a back-up striker he can be useful at this level. For example he deserves some credit for the assist today.

Doesn't really work, because we wouldn't have played with 10 men in all those games if Ings hadn't been playing. Ok Long, Adams & Obafemi are very unlikely to have scored as many as him but they'd still have scored some in that extra gametime they'd have had. 😉

That gets a 21 year right back for Man Utd... how about a 21 goal Premier League striker!? 🤔😉
-
We won 2-0, Redmond got the assist for the first goal. Isn't that attacking momentum? 😉🤔

A draw today for them would mean a Watford draw on Tuesday wouldn't relegate them.... today's defeat does mean they can go down on Tuesday!

If Bournemouth vs Southampton is a 'big derby game'... Why was there not a single Cherries fan in the stadium today?
-
Or... Bednarek is not available and Vestergaard is better than Danso "Yesterday, he had a light muscle injury and it was too risky to bring him in with a busy week so it doesn't make sense."

Everyone? Really?

Football is all about fans being hostile? Really?

Don't worry! We can battle it out with Champions League chasing Everton to finish 11th!
-
He says he wants to leave for Champions League football and winning leagues. He isn't going to get that at Everton. If he joins Everton in football terms (rather than financial terms) it is a sideways move at best. As the league table shows! Just because you have Ancelotti it doesn't mean you will make the leap to Champions League football any time soon. There is a reasonable chance Saints will finish higher than Everton this season! As for next season, Everton have already shown that when they throw money at things it doesn't work.

If Bournemouth beat Everton, Watford lose to Arsenal & Man City and Villa mess up vs West Ham & Arsenal. Cherries are safe.

Why question me when my post was responding to Batman saying 'He rarely passes the ball forward'. Do you agree Batman's post was nonsense?

We can't on Sunday.

They aren't wrong or misleading. The majority of his passes are forwards. Some Saints fans decide to only focus on the smaller number of backwards/sideways and misplaced passes. The facts are he has a reasonably high pass completion % and a lot of forward passes! Direction of his passes... The reds show misplaced passes, which are obviously a higher % in forward passes as they are more difficult to pull off.

Watford's goal difference probably won't be great after games vs Man City & Arsenal.
-
That was was my point! 😃

🤔 Which of their players do you think are capable of bullying Saints? It really isn't Bournemouth's style of play... but it is Hasenhuttl's.

Players you would sign from relegated teams....

Newcastle signed a player for double our record fee. Villa would want a huge amount for McGinn, likely beyond anything Saints would pay. -

Neither of them are realistic signing for Saints. Sarr cost Watford £30m+ and Doucouré would also be very expensive. Far better value buying from non English clubs. -
Even if today was a 1 goal loss for Watford, their remaining games are Man City and Arsenal so goal difference probably will go in Bournemouth's favour.
-
Did you put a bet on it?

I am intrigued to know how much you think Grealish and Ake would cost! -
Hence the interest from Spurs and Everton! 😉

The stats prove otherwise.
