1) Better to have been relegated last year... than what? Have we already been relegated after 3 games this season? 2) Why do people think relegation means you can easily have a "clear out" compared to staying up? Bloody hell this thread!

He got knocked down but he got up again.
-
I'm not sure why you think that.
-
25 1st team players does not fit into a matchday squad of 18. Everyone is fit so 7 players have to miss out each week, that does not mean they are leaving.
-
I'd rather have Gabbiadini on the bench than Davis, especially as we already have Armstrong & Ward-Prowse on the bench.
-
I'm fine with Hoedt playing (he really is not as bad as some think), I'd prefer Gabbiadini to play instead of Long.
-
Or... as we have a fully fit squad of 25+ and only 18 players can be named in a matchday squad... 7 players need to miss out.
-
They were both training on the pitch today. They aren't injured, just 7+ of our players can't be selected in the matchday 18. Some have to miss out every week.
-
Yoshida, Bednarek and Gabiadini were all doing training earlier on the pitch. We have a 25+ man squad, they can't all be in the matchday squad of 18 yet a lot of those not involved are still with the team today.

Harrison Reed - Official: Signs for Fulham

Which if correct shows egg was wrong. He only played 7 games at right back ffs -
This summer they signed 3 attacking players for the first team, how is that not a "big shake up"? In a 4-2-3-1 like you just suggested that is 75% of the attacking line-up of new players.

1) So you make a claim... someone asks for evidence... you refuse to provide it but we should take it seriously anyway? 2) I did not swerve your questions, I answered them all and also called you out for making up things I said. -
Les acquired a nervous stutter which he hasn't had before. He looked and sounded petrified of how his answer would be received.

So you are not able to answer my question? -
I don't think they will view Elyounoussi as ready to start a game and Austin, Hoedt & Lemina probably won't be dropped.

Can you provide evidence outlining how many games he played in each position? Not if he felt a player was his best option for another role and picked him for the good of the team. At no point have I said Reed should be starting for Saints or that he is high in the pecking order. You have just imagined that I did, when I did no such thing! -
I prefer my way of him sponsoring my membership! "Thank you to our sponsors..." (no Glasgow I'm not buying you a pizza)

You are jumping to conclusions with all of that. -
I still feel ashamed how these were treated by the fans

What definition of "social awareness" are you using where being ashamed of the actions of people you have no responsibility for fits? Being socially aware is not the same as being ashamed of actions you are not responsible for. -

I didn't say these things don't matter or that your example of racist songs wouldn't matter. I was talking about the issue of being ashamed. If you are not responsible for the actions of the individuals doing these things and it isn't you doing them then why would you be ashamed? They do not represent you... you represent you. -
They have recalled Muric from loan... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45278143

Matthew Le God replied to OldNick's topic in The Saints
Why do you feel ashamed about the actions of people you have no responsibility for? They just happen to have picked to support the same bunch of 11 men kicking a ball around a field. They don't represent you... you represent you. -
Well if you want to use that "logic"... Mark Hughes kicked a ball better than you ever could... and Hoedt has started every Premier League game whilst Hughes has been at the club! Sure Hoedt has had some horror moments and can make some daft decisions, but there is a decent centre back hidden somewhere in there. His flaws are ones that could still be coached out of him... like what happened to Yoshida where he is now a lot better than when he joined us aged 24 (same age as Hoedt is now).
