People have been giving him stick for his kicking. Which hasn't been great, but many overlook the difficult way some of them have come back to him, especially those at pace on to his left foot that need to be dealt with quickly. Apart from that I see little wrong with his game and some people seem to just be looking for scapegoats anytime we lose.

No where in that article does it say Schneiderlin is available for £13m or that Mourinho is happy with it at £13m. It is merely the bid West Brom have made at the moment, doesn't mean it will be accepted or Man Utd are happy with it.

Are you aware how daft all of that is? We have scored enough goals to be 7th after 17 games. It would be nice if we scored more, but it is possible with a defence as good as ours for us to still finish high despite not scoring many. A 1-0 win gives as many points as a 4-1 win.

Some Saints fans complain when we sell players, but we sign players who are current 1st choices for other clubs. They forget the football transfer market has a pecking order, which evolves a little over the years but it is hard to compete with the elite at the top who have current incomes 2x, 3x or 4x+ more than Saints. Nope, I liked Koeman. This thread is to highlight to people like you that Puel really isn't doing a bad job. Ok, we'll have occasional setbacks in the season, but that isn't the time for the endless negative drivel. Look at the bigger picture and we remain with a good chance of finishing top of the "best of the rest" outside the top 6 rich clubs. Scoring more goals would of course be nice, but it is points/league positions that matter and Puel so far is performing well.

1) Foster plays for West Brom not Saints. I think Forster is better than Butland. Although very promising, Butland doesn't have anywhere near the experience to have proven himself like Forster does. 2) Martina is not Southampton's first choice right back, Cedric is. Martina is 3rd choice, behind Cedric & Pied. 3) I don't know why you are comparing Shaqiri & Arnautovic with Long & Rodriguez. It is Tadic, Boufal, Redmond, Sims they would be up against for one of two places. 4) Plus if you are going to include the injured Butland, why not follow the same logic and include the injured Austin?

Utter nonsense. Even if we didn't replace him a central defence of Yoshida and Fonte wouldn't get us relegated. Far too much quality throughout the squad for a relegation battle. I very much doubt he'd be sold in Janaury as there is little incentive for Saints to do so (he'll go in the summer) but even if he was sold, I'm perplexed as to why you appear to think we wouldn't sign a replacement.
