I'm not sure how you reached that conclusion. We are only 2 points below 6th, 7th last season got us European football and possibly would again if Man Utd win the FA Cup. West Ham and Man Utd's "game in hand" over Saints is against each other. They can't both win, so points will be dropped by at least one or possibly both of them. Our remaining games are against... a relegated Villa side, a Man City who have 2 Champions League semi finals days before and after our match with them, a Spurs team who by then may have lost the title race and a Palace team who could be thinking of the FA Cup final a week later. Be positive! Again I'm not sure why you think that. The European chase dominates players in media interviews they appear focused on trying to achieve it rather than thinking of a summer on the beach. Our last 4 games... - 1-1 draw away at Everton in a game we dominated - 3-1 win over Newcastle - 1-0 loss in a tight game away at the league leaders - 3-2 win over Liverpool

He twisted his knee in the warm up against Newcastle and is out for a week Koeman said in the press conference on Thursday. -

I think in time Cedric will make it his own. He has a lot of good qualities, is young and this is his bedding in season. -

Fox was out of his depth in the Premier League, but did very well in our Championship promotion season. Fox played ahead of Harding for good reason and had a large number of assists that season. -

What moral system would the club use to decide betting is wrong?
-
Doesn't mean they will definetely win those games. Plus for example Man Utd and West Ham's "game in hand" is against each other on Tuesday 10th May, points will be lost for one or both of them they can't both get 3 points.
-
If it stays like that we will be 4 points behind 4th and play Man City at St Mary's in a few weeks.
-
Ward-Prowse is the closest like for like replacement for Davis we have to play in the a 4-2-3-1, not Romeu.
-
So instead you've gone for 4 defenders and 3 defensive midfielders?
-
I find that very unlikely to be true. Even if it were I'd struggle to see why he'd want to go back, plus Rangers wouldn't be able to offer him wages remotely close to what he is on at Saints.
-
Strange use of the word "literally".
-
What are The Sun claiming the FA want him for? Watson has been working for the FA already for quite a few years; first with youth teams and for the senior team under Hodgson...
-
I'm puzzled how you jumped to the conclusion that Tierney would be the replacement for Fonte.
-
They aren't comparable, the 4 years is a big difference. As I said, its very different playing non league as a late developer in late teens early 20's to playing in the 8th tier aged 25. Warren Bentley - playing in the 8th tier at 25 years old Ian Wright - signed for Crystal Palace at 21 years old Stuart Pearce - signed for Coventry at 21 years old
-
Vardy was in the 5th tier with Fleetwood 4 years ago at 25, Bentley is in the 8th tier at 25 years old. Being a late developer and playing non league in your teens and early 20's is one thing, but to reach 25 and still be in the 8th tier suggests the Premier League boat has gone.

How is Oxlade-Chamberlain a replacement for Wanyama? They play in completely different roles. There is no way Oxlade-Chamberlain could do what Wanyama does for us. I can't see the club being happy with Romeu as first choice. He is really a squad player, who'll get a decent amount of game time over a season. If Wanyama is sold we'll need to sign a first choice physical defensive midfielder, probably for pretty big money. That would be a worrying drop in quality. -
That was too easy! I didn't work anything out, I just wanted to see if anyone would be bothered to spend the time and check if it was true or not.
-
It is not mathematically possible for all the teams from 8th to 18th to get more than the 47 points Saints currently have. Whilst it is possible all those teams individually can get that amount of points, it isn't possible they all can together in what remains of the season, as in order to do so they would be taking points off the others.

Alex Chamberlain available in the summer?

The article suggests his motive for potentially leaving Arsenal would be for more Premier League starts. If that is the case, which club higher than us in the league is likely to offer him more? -
Pelle was in the motion of having a shot on goal, which ended up going wide because of Skrtel's actions. So clearly it was an opportunity to score.
-
When he gave the penalty, why did he not send Skrtel off for being the last man denying a goal-scoring opportunity?
-
You haven't listed a player who plays in the same role as Wanyama. If Wanyama is sold its hard to see him not being directly replaced with another first choice defensive midfielder.
