Why did David Craig say live on SSN at 10:34 today that Saints had made a 3rd bid of £15m bid? Sky's left hand doesn't know what their right hand is doing.
-
Why would a British journalist talk about a transfer between one British club and another British club in EURO's and not in pounds sterling?
-
Sky Sport's David Craig said it at 10:34.

When he says "that", given the opening from the journalist talking about the Champions League plan it suggests that Koeman is answering a question put to him about the Champions League. The word "that" is Koeman quoted as talking about the Champions League, but it depends if you trust the integrity of the Daily Star and if they haven't taken him out of context.
-
The way the Daily Star article is worded suggests otherwise. They introduce the Koeman quotes talking about a 3 year plan for the Champions League and then Koeman uses "that" to describe would would have been asked in the question that prompted his answer.
-
This suggests otherwise...

Toby Alderweireld Signs on Season Loan - Official
Matthew Le God replied to Aziz Yebda's topic in The Saints
Simon Peach @SimonPeach 18m Colleague saw my tweet & messaged me to say #SaintsFC may actually be close to an agreement for Alderweireld. Time do some digging... -
Gardos missed a significant part of pre-season, which is key to why he hasn't played for us yet. I think he'll be starting for Saints after the international break, Koeman suggested as much in a recent interview.
-
Why do you think that? Although Fonte was named captain, if van Dijk joined I think it would soon end up with Gardos and van Dijk as the centre back pairing. It would be Yoshida as 4th choice and Fonte as 3rd choice and the back up on the bench.
-
It would have been a lot in the past, but £9m for Nathan Redmond doesn't stand out compared to other English club to English club transfers in the current marketplace (post massive 2013 TV deal).

The FA's offices need to be open to register the players; so whenever the 31st August falls on a Saturday deadline day is moved to the 2nd September and if its on a Sunday it is moved to the 1st September.

1) Train from Southampton to London. 2) Coach drives up beforehand empty and meets them at the London train station and takes them to the hotel. 3) Coach from London hotel to Upton Park 4) Coach from Upton Park back home... James Ward-Prowse @Prowsey16 Great result today, was tough to come back from a goal down but the fans were terrific and we fought hard #saintsfc Thread ends.
-
No-one "needs" £60k+ p/w, but Micah Richards for example will be on that at Man City and there will be clubs that would pay it.
-
What I say has no bearing on the outcome of the game. Which is why its odd so many on here seem to superstitious say in match threads "we'll get stuffed today", it an apparent attempt to influence the outcome of a match to work out in Saints favour between two teams they have no influence over.
-
Koeman said some time ago that Boruc won't feature whilst the transfer window is still open.
-
A midfield three of Schneiderlin, Davis and Ward-Prowse should be able to control central midfield in terms of possession. Have you seen West Ham's team today? Its not exactly something we should be scared of...
-
Schneiderin will probably play the anchor role today, just in front of the centre backs. He's pretty good at it and has played there for France.
-
Based on what?
-
He is 22 years old.
-
He played for two years in Southampton's academy sides, so I'd say that makes him a product of Saints academy. Of course Plymouth get credit as well.
-
If true, it further highlights this...
-
Well it won't be quite the same, but the Southampton - London train in 1st class is still a pretty pleasant trip.
-
Here Taïder, gone tomorrow.
-
Why does that confirm it? Most non Saints fans couldn't name all our incomings, let alone critique their footballing ability.
