Might as well wait until his playing contract ends in 2016 and then move into coaching if he wants. Plus Saints already have a goalkeeper coach that Pochettino likes working with.

If for example you've missed some days during the week of training other players are going to be in better shape to start the game. That doesn't mean you have to be left out entirely and can be on the bench if required.
