It's madness to suggest selling this guy to reinvest. He is worth far more to the team than anything like his transfer value, which I imagine is now probably quite low.....
Trouble is is none of the above is true these days, we break our transfer record on yet another crap record buy, and then ship them out on loan. Eventually writing of the loss. Not a sustainable business model..........

Exactly, what decent employer would public crucify their employee, who is also a commercial asset. A player who may yet turn out to be a very good player....

Usually with World Cup bids, new stadiums are built and old ones refurbished. So hopefully if previous countries histories of staging WC's is anything to go by, we could end up with some spectacular new builds and rebuilds - including SMS
