Indeed, walking(well a bus ride)distance for me as well. Plus Fulham are my favourite London team, always a pleasant(unlike some others) London ground to visit.........
Excellent, I can now cheer on Real with a clear conscience. I never did get this whole supporting any English/ British team in Europe. Whoever ManU, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham play I invariably end up cheering on the other side.........
I can see the couple of years allowed to bring your ground into line with modern regulations. However, to change your ground so as not to comply, just as you go up, would seem nonsensical......
Apparently Shrewsbury Town are about to convert part of their ground to safe standing, and they hope to be playing in the Championship next season. How is that allowed...?
I suppose it will depend whether the owner gets an entry visa. If he is denied entry to the UK on a permanent basis, I can't imagine he will have much interest in remaining Chelsea owner.
I think if Stoke had stuck with Mark Hughes, they would have stayed up no bother. They would have managed at least another couple of wins to stay up at our expense. Probably why the sour grapes now from Stoke, realising their monumental cock up in sacking him and handing him on a plate to us......
For some reason my skate "friends" all seemed rather disappointed on Sunday. Got one "friend" with a Sky sports account who when I texted him on Sunday afternoon was apparently out walking his dog on Porchester beach, rather than watching football on tv like he usually does.......
No he wouldn't , think how long he persevered when Wigley was clearly way out of his depth. In fact the Wigley Pellegrino thing is yet another parallel......
If I was another Premier club, I wouldn't be looking at any of this disinterested bunch to strengthen my squad. I would think hey what if this time next year we are struggling..............
I've a nasty feeling that that bit of £75m business we did with Liverpool in January will result in them winning the Champions League, and us heading into the Championship!
