I think the main problem still is who do we replace him with. Look at the options that Everton, wham, WBA, Leicester, Palace etc have had to sift through, none of those appointments have been particularly inspiring. Might be better, providing we survive, review options again in summer......

It's what happens with constant changes of managers and direction. I for one never got this mantra that whosoever was employed, they just slotted in and 'the Southampton way' prevailed. At least if we get relegated we will go back to being primarily a football team again, rather than a company whose core business is buying and selling players for profit.

That's why he borrowed the money to buy into Saints. Why risk his own cash in such a risky venture.......
