I for one set out to support a football club, not a business. I think anyone who owns a football club can presume that most fans will expect them to take it forward, and not be content to tread water to go backwards. The owners are very content to take the money.

Yea indeed, I thought the black box was supposed to look at things like a players character as well, before a decision was made to sign a any particular player.......

Trouble is having a period of developing these players, then as soon as they are developed those very same players will want to move on. So we would still have a bottom half finish.

I'm not quite sure on this one either. Man City don't seem to be worrying too much these days how much they spend. I always thought the FFP rules amounted to a restraint of trade, i.e investing in your own business to take it forward!

"Once a huge club" where have we heard that one before. To me they and their vocal fans are as delusional as poopey and theirs. There is no reason why they should ever be a "huge" club again.........
