I'm not sure the argument is just about Southampton being plundered, or themselves plundering weaker clubs for talent. I would like to see some sort of salary cap put in place, or maybe introduce the system like the yanks have, whereby the weakest in the league have first dibs on newly available talent.

I live and work in London as well, and seem to be surrounded by Wham fans (although I live in Chelsea) and have had it seems eternally to suffer their insufferable arrogance. A win here would wipe away any hurt suffered during the summer.

The only Sky channel I regularly watch is Sky Sport News, so I pay the basic Sky subscription for that basically. Can any one tell me who else apart from Virgin ( not available to me), carry SSN. Or any way of watching it with smart TV?

Reminds me of just prior to the relegation season, we sold Fitz Hall to Palace for a song, because Rupert Lowe said it was good business. Then replaced him with some useless Swedish has been, for about the same money.

You can't really say that, look how drawn out the Lallana, Lovren Shaw transfers were. It just a shame Southampton didn't try and sign the replacements before the sales were agreed.
